QUOTE(selinix @ Dec 4 2012, 01:36 PM) Come... come... comee How much is the total investment ah? I'm reading up Bilstein and comparing it with Titan. Apart from the price, what are the other differences? Bilstein only comes in yellow/blue?BTW, if no ppl want my titan slot, I will proceed with installation next week/2 week |

Any good recommendation for windscreen treatment that beads water and lasts longer than a month between applications? Considering CARs' GP Coat but I'm not a fan of CARs. Have bad experience with them for as long as I can remember.

QUOTE(desertkids @ Dec 4 2012, 05:36 PM) rain x? bt be careful wen u apply it, will kill ur wiper. mz aply under hot sun n let it fully dry before use ur wiper. Used Rain-X long long time ago on my old car, don't quite remember how long it lasted but it definitely created problem with my wipers, jerking wiping movements like the wipers are stuck to the windscreen. Tried GP Coat on my old car as well, same problem. And my wipers were better quality ones and in good condition. Problem with the wipers, the way the treatment is applied or the treatment itself? This post has been edited by vincentleong: Dec 4 2012, 05:42 PM |

QUOTE(shelby_yong @ Dec 4 2012, 05:46 PM) using rain treatment.. will create jerking?? I'd like a solution too. These few weeks the rain is proving too much for me and the alcohol solution only lasts a rain or two before requiring reapplication. I'm curious though, will Rain-X beads eggs thrown by those carjackers? normal ah? i thought mine is special case de... i thought i apply a too thick on it already. got any solution ma? |

QUOTE(desertkids @ Dec 4 2012, 05:54 PM) its normal..i spoil 2-3set of wiper before..but i discover that nd to apply it under hot sun, let it fully dry (around 1 hour) then only put back your wiper in its ori position. Thanks for the advise! I'll give it a try!so far no more jerking n it work fine..i aply once a month now. last time iat the mines book fair saw a taiwan man demo a coating for windscreen..wow.the water repellent effect so good, but duno will damage wiper o not. |
