Most external charger did not rate the mah correctly.....
Yoobao rate 11200mAh @ 3.7V while we are charging our phone at 5V    so.......
5V÷3.7V=0.74 × 11200=8288mAh @ 5V
So you will getting less than 3 full charge from 0% on note2

In the mean time i am getting this

Housing

http://www.ebay.com.my/itm/160897147917?ss...984.m1497.l2649
Battery

Althought the 4000mAh is overated....i will be happy to get 3000mAh out of the battery @ 3.7 V
*
Bro, can tumpang you on the Mili charger?

FYI, I had done some reading up on the 18650 a couple of months back. The BEST 18650s now are the Panasonic 3100 mAh. The ultrafire/trustfire seem to be crappy charge holders and are not truthful in the ratings shown. You can check there is some Danish fellow who publishes a very long list of batteries tested yearly.

The so-called "new" Note 2 is a STRIPPED DOWN version....no S-Pen, cheaper, LOWER specs.....

where do you get this info from?  hmm.gif  yes, i hate the white charger and white charger which come with my titanium grey.  sad.gif
i think from RM400-600.  Heard a few different pricing.
i think derrickmoo is selling the original.  I have not bought one since i am getting the AllCast dongle which includes an original charger.  But someone here should have bought one from him.  Let's wait for his comment.  biggrin.gif
*
Bro, from the pic, the charger coming with the Allshare dongle has the 2 flat pin US plug, and it does look like the micro usb cable is NOT detachable from the charger. By using micro usb, I do suspect it will be 2A, since most wifi equipment use 12VDC 1A. I have seen a device using 5VDC 3A.

Waiting for mine too.

6.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3 tipped for 2013 (large font for large size hehe

Samsung‘s stylus-enabled “phablets” are set to get even bigger, sources in South Korea claim, with the Galaxy Note III tipped to have a whopping 6.3-inch display when it arrives in 2013. The growing smartphone stepped up to a 5.5-inch display in its second-generation, from the 5.3-inches of the original Galaxy Note, but according to whispers to the Korea Times, Samsung plans to maximize display real-estate with a new OLED model for the new year.

Note 2 size is acceptable and brilliant for phablet. fit in the pocket is really the main reason guys should consider to own this note 2. I think phablet in future need to maintain this size.

for me it is too big to be portable and too small to be a tablet..

i rather choose tablet 10.1' or bigger

portable~ my current note 2  cool2.gif just perfect..

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Dec 13 2012, 08:14 PM)
Some ppl like me wish a small tablet around 7" or a bit smaller that just nice for e-reading (Note 10.1 too big for ebooks). Plus the SPen can also be used more easier for writting and drawing on the bigger screen.
*
QUOTE(Bill2012 @ Dec 13 2012, 08:21 PM)
ya agree but if reading i prefer kindle as for drawing the bigger the screen the better..

same old saying every product has its market  flex.gif

I just stacked an A5 size paper notebook, my 7" mediapad, a B6 size paper notebook, and Note 2. Then I laid on an 8" ruler diagonally across the Note 2 screen for measurement and visualization.

You should try it. Does not seem all that preposterous. See pic.

Attached Image

Just like carrying a small paper notepad. Should fit in loose slacks pockets.

there is rumour the 5100 is a 7" Note.  Yes, just got Nexus 7 32GB WiFi for a while, the size and weight is just nice for prolong reading.  Easy to carry around too.  A 7" Note with SPen will be a great device.  thumbup.gif

Added on December 13, 2012, 8:47 pm
easy pocketible is one thing, holding it at your ear to talk (like a boss?) is another.  sweat.gif  I tried fitting the Nexus 7 into my office slack and no problem.  But i can't imagine myself holding it as a phone to my ear.  doh.gif
*
If Nexus 7 had 2Gb, I would have gotten it. Well, BT headsets or wired headphones are fine. I use BT/wired headsets with my mediapad all the time.

The best reason for the Note series is actually the stylus.!!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Phonearena voting for how much you use the Note/Note2 stylus:

http://www.phonearena.com/news/How-often-d...Note-II_id37630

.....
Now that the Note II has been out for a while, and with the Note customers having more than a year of feedback, we wanted to ask the Note/Note II owners whether the stylus is indeed an indispensable everyday tool, something that simply proves handy now and then, or is it mostly gathering dust in the silo. Checkmark your usage in the poll below, and share in the comments your personal experiences with the second life of the stylus.

I think Samsung need some platform to test their new processor or screen or anything new so the next generation phones/tablet can use that already tested thingy without problems.  What a better way than release a new product.  hmm.gif
*
Well Samsung uses a shotgun approach.....they already have a 5.8" Galaxy Player.

Looks like they test +0.5" and +0.3" per iteration.

I read about it about 2 months back, so I don't know it's here or not. I don't think it will be here since we tend not to have enough volume for any of the cool stuff.

The S Pen brings the real experience of writing and drawing to the world of computing. Made by renowned technology leader Wacom, its 1024 level pressure sensitivity delivers the super accuracy demanded by professional designers, so it’s just like using a normal pen or pencil. And for maximum comfort and convenience it’s identical in size and embedded into the body.

RRP about RM3.3k

Full x86-64, should run anything. Only downside is fixed RAM at 4Gb.

3.3K ? So cheap ? I thought 3.3k is the atom series . If 3.3k for i-series , better consider this to Sony , lighter as well
*
Yes, I saw this on the pricelist from hardwarezone. The Atom series is 2.4k. Has a Wacom and S-pen as well, but, 2Gb RAM and the stigma of atom.

Sony....Vaio Duo? ...

http://asia.cnet.com/product/sony-vaio-duo...am-46728345.htm

More importantly, Sony is charging a premium for the Vaio Duo 11. No doubt, many PC vendors are pricing their Windows 8 convertibles higher than a normal laptop--the addition of a touchscreen raises the cost of production--but at S$2,699 for the Core i7 version that we reviewed, it's pretty expensive. A Core i5 version, which comes with only 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, is slightly more palatable at $1,999.

SGD

The Ativ XE700 shits all over the competition.

UPDATE:After some searching:
http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/se...#specifications

USD1499 for i7 and 256Gb and digitizer hmm.gif

Shouldn't WinXP and Win7 provide the fat32 option? If not, linux might do the trick.

i can drag and drop from any mac pc linux belonging to and tom d*** and harry

That craps up the image a bit (a lot?) due to compression while sending. So you are curated to itunes to properly handle, track and manage your file transfer. Whereby you will need a pc or mac at hand.
