Will the 13" model have a 4702MQ 37W option? I wouldn't mind sacrificing some performance for better battery life.
*
You can have 4702MQ per special request, last year we sold few units with 3632QM too.

By the way Prince J, the RAM (if puchase) which installed inside the laptop is what type?
*
We use different types of ram, sometimes Hynix, sometimes Kingston or crucial.

I hope the 13" Illegear will be in black, like all the other Illegear laptops, and not that awfully cheap-looking silver that the original w230st has. And I'm talking about the laptop as a whole, not just the cover.
*
Frankly speaking the bottom grey/ black parts actually contrast the top lid color and make it more outstanding.

We had some whole colored chasis but the result wasn't so good:

1. Keyboard must remains same color.
2. Touchpad must remains same color.
3. Some small parts like rubber stand etc must remain same color as well.

Above parts remaining same color made the whole colored chasis looks weird.

We have one of the best finishing designers in our team and we believe simple is always better. The colored lid already changed the whole cosmetic outlook of ILLEGEAR laptop and whole colored chasis isn't necessary.

However we will look into bottom colored chasis and full colored chasis programs soon at additional costs (not cheap) for satisfying some customers.

Our full HD LCD panels are bought from three vendors: LG, Chimei and AUO.

Some technical updates:

Now the RX-17 processor is using its own heatsink rather than stacking with the slave GPU heatsink. This improves the cooling of GPU 2 and processor in overall.

The heatsink and fan of slave GPU also got improved.

Thank you.

1. So far so good using this laptop. I would recommend people to buy it because it is cheaper compare to other brands. Like the new alienware for my specs is ridiculously expensive, more than RM7k.

2. Performance superb, no issues...yet. (Dota 2-good fps & xheat with long hours played and bla bla bla) Higher requirements games are to be test soon.

3. Pre-purchase service is good. Keep replying my silly Qs. Did as were told. Delivered as per informed. But just need to inform more often and precise on the ETA or readiness (took COD) or status cause wait is pain.

4. Will comeback to comment on the post-purchase service in the long long long future...hopefully.

Anyway.....GJ Malaysian Company! Something new for the Malaysians.

how does "Wireless-N 1103 - WLAN with 3rd Antenna Installed"
compare to the n1202 with bluetooth ?
1103 more stronger?
*
1103 module sacrifices bluetooth and include the 3rd antenna.

1103 maximum dl speed is 450mbps
1202 maximum dl speed is 300mbps

1103 has better signal and stability because of 3rd antenna.

i once had a sager, and its far more better than this m14x in terms of gaming and performance, but the take off is the battery life and its dang heavy..thats why i trade off to more portability and battery life on m14x, after finish study then maybe will get illegear as portable desktop  tongue.gif

p/s : and i do hope speaker and battery life can be improve much more on illegear laptop thumbup.gif

icic.. the 1103 can scan how far the signal?
*
For the exact signal range I don't have that info. That really depends to the environment where u use WIFI.

It depends on the market. Say ASUS / Lenovo  / Acer / Dell can give better price because they are popular. As of now, i think lenovo is leading in price for specs. The Y series is incredible with SLI at 3899.
Smart phones are different markets, it's a higher necessity and the market is stronger because of the amount of users.
Tell me who doesn't have a smartphone nowadays.

Laptop is not optional but popular.
Some people still stick to desktops.
Either way, it's mostly made in china products nowadays whether AP or not. Quality is not really arguable.
*
Regardless U.S. market is 13 times bigger than Malaysia, in U.S. ppl tend to buy high-end laptops but in local ppl tend to buy cheap laptop, the retail prices depend largely on the quantity of the country distributor.

Is it using AUO or Chimei panel ?

Actually it is AUO with AHVA (AUO call their IPS technology AHVA.), but doubt who understand AHVA so we put IPS.

A quick update, for those looking for true mobility from RE-13 Pro, please choose without primary drive and opt for msata ssd, that can slightly reduce the overall weight.

Was it RM19 a couple of hours ago or was that just a mistake?
How much weight can we expect to save?
For example, a 240GB mSATA vs 500Gb Scorpio Black HDD+120Gb mSATA. Would the weight difference be over 100g?
*
Yes that's a mistake sorry for the inconvenience.

The WD Black 500GB weighs 115g. If you deduct the primary drive from the default RE-13 Pro config, it will become about 1.9kg.
