QUOTE(SonnyCooL @ Dec 28 2012, 08:12 PM) preorder without payment ? or Marketing research for seller ? You can have a better understanding once you read Stringfellow's post here: u can have that mind set, seller can too .... a preorder without bonding ? end up like maxis ? or worst ? http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=57125179 They are not taking any deposits for pre-order. So there is no obligation or any contractual agreement that exists. Pre-order is on the "best effort" basis and if they failed to get any units for you, then you can't blame them as well. |

What I can say is whenever there's demand, there's always supply. Price is just an indicator of the equilibrium point when demand intersect with supply, providing mutual agreement and win-win situation for both.

QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ Dec 29 2012, 06:28 PM) Am looking into purchasing my next Android after losing my Note II last week Pre-order available at Hotspot, LYP. Wasn't exactly a happy camper when I was the owner that's why I went back to iPhone. But need a 2nd phone for my job and my experience with first Nexus was great. So where to pre order huh? Just drop name, contact, email and no of units then you're good to go. |

Hmm, seems like many marketing surfaces on the possible 1/1/2013 launch? Probably they announce it on new year and available for outright purchase by 7th January?

QUOTE(barrybear @ Dec 31 2012, 02:01 PM) QUOTE(faiz2036 @ Dec 31 2012, 02:09 PM) For 1785 with 3 years warranty, sounds like a very good deal.I just posted to see what their extended warranty covers and if it's good, no complain about the price. At least better than pre-orders 1899 with 12 months brandstar warranty. |

I wonder why Maxis is not taking Nexus 4?
Looks like I'll have to order from Google Playstore. |

QUOTE(nightwalkertzs @ Jan 2 2013, 03:37 PM) So far not yet. But I think they'll open again before CNY, just don't put high expectation on getting the phone before CNY. Added on January 2, 2013, 3:39 pm QUOTE(nsg86 @ Jan 2 2013, 03:37 PM) LG warranty is crap. Sometimes I feel the AP holders are offering better services. I have my fair share of complaints with LG Secret (KF 750) last time and they told me they are unable to fix it, told me it's not worth to fix, better buy new phone. Went to some ah kau's shop and get it fixed for RM 250. This post has been edited by Icehart: Jan 2 2013, 03:39 PM |

QUOTE(super_evil_alien @ Jan 2 2013, 05:21 PM) So do any one of you think LG will be chosen again to manufacture another nexus device? Personally I think Google has had enough headache when it comes to dealing with LG. If the supply issue is genuine, Google is taking the beat from its customer from the incompetent LG.IMHO Sony deserve more to be the nexus manufacturer due to their contribution for AOSP. |
