can't wait to try this out with dual antenna.

just collected the E398 from Pos Laju this morning. And I'd say it impresses me. First time ever, reaching the 10Mbps mark using a single 3G connection at my house with lousy signal. Of course, I'm using dual antenna pointing different directions in hope of connected to two different towers.

Another thing that surprised me is that I'm able to use it on my almost forgotten Prolink PWH2004 router. Blacktubi can add this router to the compatibility list already. Anybody want to buy this router from me?

I want to trade-in my recently bought 2 x E372 also if can. I can also go to your house.

E398 uses TS9. Need to change your CRC9 already.

I already posted the testimonial for my first E398. I guess no need already kua. This is just my 2nd and 3rd units for load balancing and other location.

I haven't try tomato FW yet, from the description, doesn't seem to support 3G and the router that I have.

For single modem, maximum speed using E372 with antenna was 5-7Mbps. Now, E398 with dual antenna, it's the result you see in my earlier post. Note that I have to use antenna in my area due to lousy signal (<10-20%).

On another note, I'm using two 3G routers for the load balancing via ZeroShell. With multiple E398s, I'll need to find a cheaper solution to address my antenna issue. Still trying to source around for some RP-SMA splitters. Blacktubi, if you come across any, please let me know.

I already mentioned SMA splitter earlier mar.. you asked me to buy additional panel antenna pulak.

looks like we're hijacking blacktubi's sales thread.

One RJ45/WiFi is good enough to connect the 2 routers as they are on the same subnet. Eg (simplified version of what I have):
Router #1 - 192.168.1.251
Router #2 - 192.168.1.252
Zeroshell WiFi - 192.168.1.250 (NAT will be enabled here)
Zeroshell RJ45 - 192.168.2.250
Other clients in the house - 192.168.2.0/24

I don't want to spend extra money to buy additional hardware since the software can handle basically the same thing with the same or more features. Plus it's FREE!

Maxis Mobile Internet, I'm not the fastest one though.

Ordered 2 from TS, very fast delivery! It's waiting for me at Pos Laju collection center. Too bad I don't have time to collect it yet. Well, no need to rush as I've yet to get LTE in my area.

not planning to use it with Mikrotik. Lazy to relocate it and set it up also.

just bought another 2 x E3276 from TS. Fast delivery as usual, received it already and tested without problem on MR3020 running ROOter firmware.

I hardly use TP-Link's original firmware. Mostly ROOter firmware.
