Just now I learn that there a bunch types of HUAWEI E398, that are:
HUAWEI E398u-1
HUAWEI E398u-11
HUAWEI E398u-15
HUAWEI E398u-18
HUAWEI E398s-81
Vodafone K5005

http://mobilebroadband.altervista.org/blog...8u-15-e398u-18/

Mine is HUAWEI E398u-1, with 2 connectors for external antenna.
I need help on your expertise to detect which one is the correct source icon_question.gif

P/S: you should take the picture of your HUAWEI E398 model, written near the sim card place, at put it on your 1st post.

I know the technical spec for all of these

Let me point out the different for you.
U1 is the most basic and most usual available, performance < U15
U18 is the most useless, only 1 antenna port and 1 build in antenna
S version is for TDD.
U11 don't really largely exist. Hard to hunt

1) So which source is the correct source? 4gltemall or mobilebroadband?
2) So my Telenor HUAWEI E398-u1 can detect both MAXIS LTE 1800 & 2600Mhz? hmm.gif
3) Please reply my PM regarding the micro/nano sim adapter icon_rolleyes.gif

I didnt read through them detail but 4gltemall quite correct
U1 dont support 1800
I still not home, my useless phone cant load page properly now only can reply thread

4gltemall: HUAWEI E398u-1: 4G LTE FDD -- 900/1800/2100/2600 Mhz
mobilebroadband: HUAWEI E398u-1 : 4G LTE FDD 900/2600 Mhz

Which one is correct? rclxub.gif

If what you said, U1 dont support 1800 is correct, then it seems Maxis LTE at my home is 1800Mhz and at my office is 2600 Mhz.
Thats why I cannot registed LTE at my home cry.gif

Wrong, if your modem can't support 1800Mhz and tower only broadcast in 1800Mhz you can even able to detect smile.gif
