Just want to share my feedback here. E3276 works with my Mikrotik RB951G-2HND.

Yeah that's true. Can't complain much if I have a working E3276 with mikrotik. I read reviews in mikrotik forums lots of users saying it's totally not working at all. Probablly some tuning needed ?

already got the item. speed was superb. better than my previous modem
E398 ( max 30mbps in LTE) and ZTE AL621 ( 41mbps in LTE)
new record for me E3276 (60mbps +++ ) in LTE smile.gif rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

My E398 max out at 27Mbps and E3276 can max out at 45Mbps.

Another thing is MF820 can detect LTE but connect connect, whereas E3276 can connect to LTE.

What could be the reasons ?

OMG ! I love this unit !!!!

Signal reception of E3276 is very good !!! everything is just too good !!! and very fast delivery ! biggrin.gif

5 stars rating ! thumbup.gif

before this , my mf680 without antenna cannot dial internet at all ! must have antenna ! just can dial and stabalize.

now E3276 without antenna or any tweak, the performance is better than mf680 with antenna !!

this is too awesome ! wub.gif

Location: Home (High ground area)
Tower Location: At big road (Low ground area)
Signal strength: MF680 with antenna, receive 35-45%
Connection type available: DC-HSPA+

Performance compared:
Without Antenna
ZTE MF680Huawei E3276
  • Hard dial internet
  • Even connected, also very slow, around 2-4mbps
  • Always DC
  • Always auto restart
  • Very stable ping at 30+ms
  • Stable DL at 7-10mbps
  • No problems connect to internet
  • Everything is good

With Antenna
ZTE MF680Huawei E3276
  • No problem dial to internet but need face feng shui direction
  • Stable at 30ms-50ms
  • DL 8-10mbps
  • (Can't test because antenna not beside me)

Observation: E3276 without antenna = MF680 with antenna
Conclusion: E3276 is way better than MF680

It is too sad that I cannot test LTE as my area only have DC-HSPA+ sad.gif

My case

MF820D+ , can see LTE signal 2 bar on dashboard but cannot connect, maybe the modem is of different bandwidth compared to Maxis 1800MHz

E398 , cannot even log onto LTE signal, only best is DC HSPA+ since Maxis changed the direction of the LTE wok [transmitting dish]

E3276 can logon and Jalan

All the above tried without using any wat so ever antenna.

Wimax is also defined as 4G. I don't think there is true or not true 4G. But most peoples prefer LTE as the true 4G.

Who care true or not, as long as it's faster than any 3G. Most important really fast than a telco say they use 4G but give only 1Mbps speed only for Rm99 package.

(that telco you will say 'kencing' when you pronounce the name)
