What's the job prospect like for someone who took the SAP course independently as opposed to being sent for trainning, as per the norm?

you will still be hired by SAP Consulting company ... laugh.gif
you will ahead then many others because you are certified although no project experiences

Are you sure about this? If this is really true, then the fastest route to riches in IT would be SPM > 4 year degree > SAP cert, which would mean that you could be a junior consultant by the age of 21! So with the average degree costing 30k, and the SAP course costing 20k, you have a total investment of 50k, which, according to you lot, should be gained within a year when you're earning 5k a month.

Please tell me this isn't true. huh.gif

If you have certificate, you will receive calls from agent whether you have experience or not.

If you don't have certificate, agent will call you if you have experience.

There are people without SAP experience and pass the exam.

If what you say is true, then why don't more people do what I said in post #31?

Inferno: u also know tat 4 yrs degree cost 30k
but for sap cert it cost 25k-30k for only 5 weeks, many ppl will say too expensive, even for myself, if i din get the offer from mmu and mdc i also wont go and take the SAP ABAP......

I guess it's good that it's expensive, otherwise everyone will have one, just like a MCSE.
