It's true la bro. It was published in their official website also.

"We have played a great match against a great team as peers, I am sorry we lost it on a simple action”

http://www.udinese.it/ENG/script/view.php?id=1965

We are a great team!  rclxms.gif

see the magic words 'as peers'.
for the better part of the last 10yrs udinese have been a mid-table team in the serie A...

Not much inputs from fellow supporters these days even after such an important win - interest cooling off? Europa League not so interesting?

Actually, getting into the KO stage is quite important for us : 1) more matches, more opportunities/exposure for our youngsters 2) more revenue, more money to buy better players in January

Glad I didn't watch the game early this morning cos I would have been so stressed out watching them defend a 1-0 lead...again! and that last shot from Natale could have done damage...to me! LOL

..and I would have been so angry again that we just cannot finish!

Well, glad Liverpool won and progressed!

I watched the game. Wasn't one for the purists but we did create the better chances and aside from Di Natale's effort near the end, never looked like we were going to lose it. Overall it was a workmanlike performance and we did enough to get the desired result. Sahin got taken off early with a bloodied nose. It helped that Pasquale got his marching orders after his second yellow card infringement on Sterling.

1) Disagree. BR take europa league seriously and almost a full 1st team players playing week in week out. Only carling cup is youngster playground. How often we see the likes of morgan, pacheco, heck even assaidi not on the starting lineup these days. sweat.gif

2) europa league winning prize is peanut compare to UCL. But still, better than nothing lar... imagine we cant afford the extra 1-2m for dempsey, doh.gif so yea, more revenue stream frm matchday tickets, tv broadcasting right etc

Honestly, I dislike Europa League. Hate it in fact. Not only the players risk injuries, the TV schedule for EPL all have to switch to late Sundays or early Monday morning because of Europa League. Hate it!

i watched the game.
i was secretly wishing LFC would get knocked out, to hopefully drill another nail into BR's coffin tongue.gif
against udinese? scored 1 goal only?
its just marginally better than the 1-0 win other southampton the other day.

the team still missing chances at goal, the defense of cos wasnt at full strength since skrtel was on the right side and carra on the left...which basically all but says skrtel is completely uncomfortable on the left side...and which again highlights the need for a backup for Agger...which Coates is not it.

I actually just saw this post going through some old post. Hahaha... Been so busy with work that I haven't really been active online for a long time. Company got a lot of restructuring so yea, lots of work to do and prepare for 2013.

Hopefully, I'll have more time to start getting involved here again. XD
