XBox dead, XBox not operating

A very good morning to everyone here,
This is my first time posting an issue about Xbox and hope someone can point me to the correct direction. I got an xbox and there is update notification, so I updated it. After update, dead cannot operated....I send to a shop and it said need to change motherboard and charge me for RM500.00. Any cheaper alternative solution? Thank you. |

Dude, I believe you console is old phat model.
These console not worth a repair. If your console is unmodded you can send to Singapore Funan Plaza for 1 to 1 exchange as it has 3 yrs warranty, if not you'd better follow suggestion from y3ivan. You may go to Garage sales to find out which seller can get that price. those in game shops sell only modded console on RM9xx |

Just buy a new one as repair that phat console twice is already at new console price dy and the problem will certainly come back even after u change GPU chip. |
