Yep, they can be used to control both machines. There's a free (as of now) app to do that called Teleport from abyssoft.
Recently I just changed my configuration to use iMac as the third screen for my MBP via ScreenRecycler. So all 3 displays are now for my main workstation, the MBP. |

Cannot la, no use for iPad. If someone gives me as a present I would definitely love it though. Just can't justify buying it for myself.

cusx, when you have a lot of work it's more productive to be able to see everything on the screen and not switch back and forth.
Imagine having 7 different browsers open to work on a web page and coding at the same time. It's a nightmare to switch back and forth. |
