are there anyone running leopard at lower spec mac???is there any problem if my system doesn't meet the minimum system requirement?i believe that if i search for mac os tiger around shop it will be very difficult right?pls help!!

if ur spec beat this, thats mean im running on way lower pc spec

Proc: Intel P4 s478 2.4/ 512kb L2
Board: Intel i865G
RAM: 512mb x2 ddr 400mhz
HDD: 80gb ide & 40gb ide
Optical: Regular cdrom

can macbook use windows instead of mac Os X

How do you do ur assignment taht are mostly use Ms words .How you do ur presentation using apple?

use the mac office 2008, it works almost the same with Microsoft office 2007. i am using it to do my report and presentation too....

u can use dual boot by activating your boot camp.

surely in current mac position, i guess i won't beat that spec....but seriously is there anyone who using a mac g3 or earlier batch of g4 running leopard?...just wanna know the performance....since rite now i'm using a 800mhz g4...but with 1gb amount of ram....

there is several application doing the same jobs as M$ Office, such OpenOffice, NeoOffice, iWorks etc
but there is mac version of M$ Office

Won't answer the 1st, its blasphemy to install OSX on a PC.

2nd: It like comparing Lemons (like M$ it sucks) to Apple. You should compare XPS 1530 to a Macbook Pro, those are spec to spec equals in comparison, though price of course differs alot.

But if you compare XPS 1530 with a macbook... depends what you want to do really, if you want a desktop replacement/play some games/heavy multimedia ... XPS or Macbook Pro would be a better choice. For general use macbook win hands down, with exception to heavy graphics/video works due to its limited built in graphics card.

3rd: Yes bootcamp is a built in Mac application in OSX Leopard for dual booting with windows.
