Nothing wrong about still using Tiger, it's still a great OS. In certain aspects it might even still be better & more stable than Leopard. At least he's using it legally. No point using Leopard if it's on a hackintosh.  whistling.gif
*
heh.. still same
only the kernel make em' diff. laugh.gif

as long it stable & able use those mac software, kira ok marr icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

No doubt mac osx were better than windows, maybe best os ever. But then, when you got high spec pc or better than true macpro, why not adapt the osx? Its aint harm aite?

Why not? You use a mac just for the OS. If i can save some cash buying a pee-cee and installing os x on it...i would do it...its not that the mac hardware is so great. maybe the mbp is slim...but...its not that ground-breaking and its so expensive given the specs...just my opinion.

Let's say one day someone hack iPhone OS too and anyone can install it with their Nokia or HTC. And they tell you that you paid too much for your iPhone and in the end it's just the OS. How do you feel then? I'm pretty sure you will tell them it's not just the OS that simple...
*
heh.. like that then, cant say more la since i bought iphone ady
but when it DO avail. to be installed into pda/ phone, shall give a try

I'm running 6GB at the moment added 5GB from the stock 1GB. Going to 10GB soon.
As long as the RAM matches the spec, it should works. I have mix of KVR and KTA RAM. It's very personal preferences on type of RAM. I would say go with your budget.
*
holy cow! 6GB? what dya need it for bro?
mine 4GB already cant utilize.. even running virtual machine of vista some more..

huhuu.. 10GB really awesome tongue.gif rclxms.gif

well under Leopard it shud be true, since Leopard was 64bit ready platform

i have tried once use my 4GB ram till left around 1GB when i was running VMWare

there is another time too when i was running some heavy x264 drama using VLC, my RAM left around 500MB, i think there might be some Memory Leakage by VLC, not sure bout it though, but this prove that my Mac does have up to 4GB RAM
*
hoo.. leopard was 64bit platform?
are u sure bout this?

It seems can't be detected by both of my machine, salesman at Switch also try to connect my KB to their MBP & MP, both cannot detect. Lastly, he take my KB for RMA. Very well & friendly service i would say smile.gif

Errr... there's no 13" PowerBook as I recall, they come in 12" (G3 & G4), 14" (G3), 15" (G4) and 17" (G4).
13.3" are MacBook (polycarbonate) or MacBook (unibody).

I have some small update coming...
Airport Extreme b/g/n
Wireless Mighty x2
MBP 15"
iPhone (making it 3x in the house)
Crumpler backpack biggrin.gif

What can I say anymore?
