Some of the SPen with oversensitive problems are stuck, the tip is supposed to be retractile, meaning when you touch the screen it will retract abit and when you lift up, it will drop back down. I had a problem with my SPen immediately after purchasing but did not realise it until 3 days later. Sent to samsung for warranty and got a new 1 in 2 day.

Close is when you touch the screen physically with the pen, then only it will ink. If you manage to write without the pen touching the screen, there is something wrong. And yes the tip is definitely retractable, I have seen it in Note 2 review videos and also my new pen and my friend's pen.

Without touching the screen, the note 2 should recognise the Spen - there will be a cursor but it will not be activating any programs or switching pages, if it is, your pen is stuck.

looks great, feels great but the Galaxy Note II at the back makes it looks cheap like those china made ones.
The recent samsung models are already famous, they dont have to do that.
Samsung worries that when u use a cover, other might not see or know what model u using, so they put it there nicely .hehe.

im using the momax one. regretted because the specs of the phone was design ngam ngam for a good grip ( for me) even by using the so called ultra thin. It still blocks my thumb from moving to the other side of the screen.haha

Look for the app at settings/applications and select clear defaults
So far in all the androids i used i never used such apps to clear cache or tasks - such actions are totally unnecessary. It is even more unnecessary in Note 2 since you have massive 2 GB ram
