Right. Since having the Note 2 i have ceased even tweaking the phone to get the extra battery usage. No more setcpu to UV and UC ; no more playing around with kernels; no more using apps such as Juice Defender . I just select power savings default mode
And since day one i own the phone its battery life has been consistently great. Easily can last me from 7am till 11 pm ( still with 10-15% left) every day with average 3 hours browsing, several calls/SMS, some youtubes, update/refresh newsfeed, tweeter, email etc. Overnight with 3G always on and active FB, RSS feeds, email updates - average 3-4% over 7-8 hours
I also have a spare battery in case i need to use for outstation trips

In android unused ram is wasted ram

My opinion buying cheaper but with a poorer coverage from digi is not worth it
DIGI average download speeds 600 to 1000 kbps versus 2000-8000 on Maxis or Celcom

You will curse if you are always on the move in the country
My other phone is on u mobile n I am very frustrated as its coverage throughout country is very poor. Good only in areas of coverage

I would say best coverage in country is Maxis
In east coast even along kampung trunk roads is good
I travel extensively throughout the country from north to south n east to west for past 20 years until I retired 3 years ago
I have used Maxis, celcom n digi n u mobile. I am going to MNP u mobile to Maxis next month. U mobile excellent n very good only in certain areas in the big towns. In between towns it is the worst coverage. I got u mobile because mainly of the nice , very nice number offer to me. Agreed to test it for 3 months to support a friend inside.

That back case is a teeny minor issue - you just need to close it properly to avoid it comes out slightly. Always clip in first the side with the slot first than only press down the rest of the cover. NOT an issue at all I'd say

Launch phone. Menu/call settings /call forwarding/voice call - you will be shown the options : always , when busy, when unanswered, when unreachable - you can set different phone nos for each scenario

Depending on your telco, you might need to confirm with them you have calls forwarding enabled . Some are , some are not ( eg Celcom). Normally you need to pay a small charge to activate this feature - that was few years ago , now i am not sure. I paid RM 10 to Celcom 5 years back

Once rooted you cannot have OTA updates. If update detect you will be warned phone is modified and update cannot proceed. It was still possible in earlier Samsung phones but not for the Note2. Modified cos you rooted it. Live with it or unroot back

You can give up trying it

Yes n is perfect solution

RM 200+ for 64 gb is darn cheap
It was rm580 in Jan n drop to rm350 in Jun
Many grab when it drop to rm350 than
Don't think it will drop any further

Never at all n I have been using it several months
2 possibilities
Motherboard problem or cracked pirate apps creating havoc on system files
