What kind of answer is this? Does that mean Senq is willing to be selling imitation items to customers?

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Nov 30 2012, 02:07 PM) i will never advice anyone to go to this SC... like i shared b4, this one handles ALL SAMSUNG PRODUCT claims. so you're fighting for time with others claiming warranty for fridge, vacuum cleaner, TV, and what-not. If Samsung applied Six Sigma to its manufacturing operations, it should be 3 defects per million (dpm).but i guess u could sit down and make yourself coffee... Added on November 30, 2012, 2:09 pm well, if consider you two as same case... it's still 2 out of 5mil cases... making it 0.0000004%. i think that is good in terms of defect rate for manufacturing/ factory... right? 5m x 3dpm = 15 units. That seems not the case at least with the chargers. |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Nov 30 2012, 02:18 PM) That makes me think that the charger buzzing is not a defect. There is just too many cases to be considered as defective. Sherlock Holmes:When you eliminate the impossible, that leaves only the possible..... Good alternate perspective on the charger issue. I think I still have pretty good hearing, and I can usually hear transformer and capacitor whines from electronics when other people cannot hear it (I'm an uncle already but not at Uncle Benny's level). I can hear capacitor discharges from some notebooks. So I think the sound is a normal whine/hum/buzz as a result of some vibration or air static discharge from the components inside the charger. I can hear my charger buzz only when I put my ear close to it, so this means it is very soft. This post has been edited by joytest: Nov 30 2012, 02:27 PM |

QUOTE(suntzulee @ Nov 30 2012, 03:50 PM) Alright guys...pls stop discussing dispute and irrelevant topic here....haha (now i sound like a mod already) Being a pedant (sigh)back to topic, to me i found 24mths contract are so disadvantage, if any point of time i want to cancel due to dissatisfaction of service, then it leaves me no choice but paying the fine..will even cost more. Like me, i dont rely on plan very much not because my house got 24/7 wifi connection but i found a best telco partner that allow me not to have such 24 mths long contract... Just want to point out that the correct phrase is "being put on a pedestal". "Pai seong toi" is the Chinese equivalent and mirrors the English saying almost directly. This however is known as linguistic interference, which is an extremely common occurrence in Malaysia. This happens with Chinese, Malay, Tamil, Hindi. So, Mind Your English . |

QUOTE(nicregi @ Nov 30 2012, 04:19 PM) Careful with maxis and how to do that? Go to maxis centre lo Well, there really is nothing much to complain about the PHONE at this time, so we turn our attentions to stuff that supports PHONE USE.As for the extra charges, refer few pages back. There are some discussion on this. Added on November 30, 2012, 4:19 pmOh my...this topic becoming telco topic pulak We already know: the charger problem, some intermittent S-Pen stuff, people dropping the phone couple proximity sensor possible issues one reported LCD problem one reported bluetooth possible issue This phone just simply seems superb in every other way. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 30 2012, 04:55 PM) Er. Not sure I'm dreaming or anything but as you guys know my adapter is spoilt now. So, I'm using my BlackBerry charger to charge my Note 2. Thinking of getting a Cooler Master SNA 120 adapter - universal notebook adapter + 2USB ports, 1 with 1A and 1 with 2A. Will charge everything at one go.Not only it is slow, which I'm very much OK to it. Anyway, I let it charge overnight. But the battery drains faster than when I was using the proper Note 2 adapter. Just sharing and yes that applies if charge via USB as well. Anyone here using any similar products? I was thinking of the Innergie 95W but I don't like white devices. http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6739 GS seller: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1136814 |

QUOTE(Cynox @ Nov 30 2012, 05:13 PM) wow.. so serious? i only refrain myself from charging in car. Use to charge my Note in office quite often. Maybe your computer USB port got spiked. Yes, likely so. I once hooked up a usb cooling pad with a Y converter. Fried one of my card readers. So it depends on your luck if your pc usb port is screwy and you don't know about it. |

QUOTE(blackrobin @ Nov 30 2012, 06:05 PM) Im on Liquidsmooth rom nw. Using their launcher I know, I wasn't on TW. I was on Nova launcher. The launcher is fine. It was only the apps that FC'd. And then it was just Clock. I actually use Clock a lot for daily alarms and to see world time as I need to work with people all over.I rmb u can't just change dpi and expect stock tw to work... It won't lol... Surprisingly S-Note worked fine at 180dpi compared to Note1 days. I suppose this is due to S-Note being on a 10" device as well so they made it dpi-independent. |

QUOTE(solsekuin44 @ Nov 30 2012, 07:28 PM) Yeah, yours is charger eh.. Will be great if replaced on the spot. I bought it last week too Good luck! Question, anyone tried Thumb Keyboard? I use both Hacker's Keyboard and Thumb via KM Launcher, coz for some reason Thumb keyboard does not have the numeric row on top when in Portrait mode. KM Launcher lets you choose what keyboard to use when in Portrait or Landscape. So in Portrait, I use Hacker's, in Landscape, I user Thumb. Works for me. |

QUOTE(Xirality @ Dec 1 2012, 12:11 AM) can anyone explain what does Pentile and non Pentile difference? I only know Note I is Pentile, while Note II isn't. Which one is better? Google is your good friend. He is prepared to answer any question you ask of him. In fact he is trying out some new technology which will answer questions that you won't even think about asking. |

Ah, to answer those who kept saying Bard's Tale didn't show an option to save to extSD.
I just saw an update and the description is that it NOW SUPPORTS exfat cards for extSD downloads. So, those who have exfat formatted cards didn't see the option when they installed it... Hope this helps. |
