well, if consider you two as same case... it's still 2 out of 5mil cases... making it 0.0000004%. i think that is good in terms of defect rate for manufacturing/ factory... right? biggrin.gif

If Samsung applied Six Sigma to its manufacturing operations, it should be 3 defects per million (dpm).

5m x 3dpm = 15 units.

That seems not the case at least with the chargers.

Good alternate perspective on the charger issue.

I think I still have pretty good hearing, and I can usually hear transformer and capacitor whines from electronics when other people cannot hear it (I'm an uncle already but not at Uncle Benny's level). I can hear capacitor discharges from some notebooks.

So I think the sound is a normal whine/hum/buzz as a result of some vibration or air static discharge from the components inside the charger.

I can hear my charger buzz only when I put my ear close to it, so this means it is very soft.

Ah, the workplace should be progressive and have flexible working locations....almost all work nowadays just needs a network connection and a VPN and you're all set.

Just want to point out that the correct phrase is "being put on a pedestal".

"Pai seong toi" is the Chinese equivalent and mirrors the English saying almost directly. This however is known as linguistic interference, which is an extremely common occurrence in Malaysia. This happens with Chinese, Malay, Tamil, Hindi.

So, Mind Your English ™.

Well, there really is nothing much to complain about the PHONE at this time, so we turn our attentions to stuff that supports PHONE USE.

We already know:
the charger problem,
some intermittent S-Pen stuff,
people dropping the phone whistling.gif
couple proximity sensor possible issues
one reported LCD problem
one reported bluetooth possible issue

This phone just simply seems superb in every other way.

Thinking of getting a Cooler Master SNA 120 adapter - universal notebook adapter + 2USB ports, 1 with 1A and 1 with 2A. Will charge everything at one go.

Anyone here using any similar products? I was thinking of the Innergie 95W but I don't like white devices.

Yes, likely so. I once hooked up a usb cooling pad with a Y converter. Fried one of my card readers.
So it depends on your luck if your pc usb port is screwy and you don't know about it.

I did 180dpi the other day, Clock app FC, and Camera had weird borders.

Are you on stock TW launcher? Haven't used stock launcher for the longest time cannot recall how it behaves.

I know, I wasn't on TW. I was on Nova launcher. The launcher is fine. It was only the apps that FC'd. And then it was just Clock. I actually use Clock a lot for daily alarms and to see world time as I need to work with people all over.

Surprisingly S-Note worked fine at 180dpi compared to Note1 days. I suppose this is due to S-Note being on a 10" device as well so they made it dpi-independent.

I bought it last week too tongue.gif

I use both Hacker's Keyboard and Thumb via KM Launcher, coz for some reason Thumb keyboard does not have the numeric row on top when in Portrait mode.

KM Launcher lets you choose what keyboard to use when in Portrait or Landscape.

So in Portrait, I use Hacker's, in Landscape, I user Thumb. Works for me.

Ah, to answer those who kept saying Bard's Tale didn't show an option to save to extSD.
I just saw an update and the description is that it NOW SUPPORTS exfat cards for extSD downloads.
So, those who have exfat formatted cards didn't see the option when they installed it...

Yes uncle, Handy Note is the best one. I bought it too.

I tried gnote before, it needed TW framework. Does it work on PA 2.5x+ now?
