You make me want to do it now It's almost 11% profit d. Guys, what would you do if you was I. Buy high now Or wait until it drop? Now my current investment on this fund just RM 1K. QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jan 27 2013, 08:47 PM) I will top up my portfolio as a whole, which currently is Nice 2/3 in Asia Pacific + GEM equity 1/3 in global equity In the 2/3, 43% is EI GEM, 21% in AmAsia Pac REITs, 21% in Hwang AQ and 14% in EI Equity Income (MYR equity fund) In the 1/3 I have OSK-UOB Global Equity Yield, plan to add on Pacific Global Stars. E.g. when I top up RM100 in AmAPAC REITs, I will make sure to top up RM100 to Hwang AQ and RM200 to EI GEM. I'll top up AQ when the NAV price drops. Most probably buying in a new GEM equity fund soon. Need to have more risk exposure in equity. This post has been edited by TakoC: Jan 27 2013, 09:02 PM |

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Jan 28 2013, 03:39 PM) HK and Singapore keep on climbing and climbing, I won't top up AQ until I see them taking a breather. The market really needs some troubling news from The US of A. +1I keep thinking whether I should sell it off, and then buy again when it's low. But I was thinking what the heck.. Kacang profit compared you all sifus |

Still trying to understand more about the market. So asking here. Is the bond market or equity market bullish now?
Awhile ago AQ shows good sign. So I suppose it's equity? |

QUOTE(kuanbuo @ Sep 11 2013, 03:25 PM) Thanks sifu. I am looking to try with about 1000 unit each first just to get experience before doing it so in a higher amount 1000 unit? Uhm how should I say this. In simple words, people usually say they want to invest how much in monetary value. You won't know how much 1000 units cost as your NAV price can only be known later on (not at the point purchase). Please read up more on unit trust investment, and feel free to ask This post has been edited by TakoC: Sep 15 2013, 05:57 PM |

QUOTE(wongmunkeong @ Nov 18 2013, 04:57 PM) Bolded item - sure boh bro/sis? Well, he's not entirely wrong that investors that have no time leave all to the UT agents to manage on their behalf.hm.. most (not all) unit trust agents dont know kaka when i poke them for: a. details (sharpe ratio, CAGR of moving 3/5/10 years & why such drastic differences) b. and methodologies (especially DCA vs others in different scenarios / environment vs lump sum asset allocation - heck even the concept of asset allocation) But if you invest in UT yourself that's a different story |
