Hi all...been reading tons of good info in here about gshock n I think it's time for me to join the fun as well. Good time to start also coz of the 30yr anniversary.

Am thinking of getting a more adult GSHOCK so I need some helpful advice on which models that I should get. I was considering the Edifice until I saw the MTG models. Absolute gorgeous. Especially the limited model!! Not to mention the latest RangeMan but its probably too big for my skinny wrists. I'm a fool for the bells n whistles n the MTG n RangeMan got all the cool boxes ticked. I still like the Edifice coz it looks proper with business attire but I read that the Gshock are more collectible.

All advice are most welcome on where I could get the best price on these babies. Or should I consider other models as well. Thanks. N sorry for writing so long. Peace.

I know it's lame but I'm only getting info by reading the reviews at ablogtowatch..which is why I read the MTGS and the Rangeman is like THE watch to get this year...plus the aviation series GWA1100.

It depend on wat model u r looking for. Normaly G-Shock u can get it at lelong, most of them sell at cheaper price compare to retail shop. The is few recommended seller such as Belispree, Gpeople, iMyWatch, citytime. For local seller, one of our big tycoon futurehero used to buy from watch shop at Summit USJ ground floor. The can offer very cheap price too. Beside tat, u FB Seller Project Hullabaloo also a good place to hunt for JDM model. blush.gif

My suggestion is go to any watch shop that selling Casio
See and touch and try and compare them on the spot, then tell the promoter you don't like them and walk away whistling.gif

Then search online for what you want
If you not dare for online shopping
Then go to summit usj ground floor, there hv a watch shop that can offer best price that same or lower than online, but as I say it all depend on your bargain skill, whistling.gif

protrek prg-270 or prg-3000, same sensor as in the rangeman...
prg-270 is the better value since no atomic timekeeping and which is kinda useless in malaysia anyway.

oh wait, g-shock...in that case rangeman...tho i still like my mudman g-9300.

nm, found one pic...good enough.
prg-270 is also slimmer which is another plus.
