But must be bundled with PSU purchase min Enermax NAXN82+ 550W.

No need bundle with PSU. I can buy the card alone @RM399. Saw it on lingloong's facebook comment.

Btw, 6870 is a very old powerful card, will it last another 2 years ? Afaird later no driver update given. hmm.gif

Saw it's selling for RM399 at c-zone as well. Most likely will go for it as it's still quite a powerful card and can run most games well. Thanks guys.
*
I vote for this card to, even powerful than the newest GTX650Ti which cost RM449.

Another question,

http://my.msi.com/product/mb/#/?sk=Socket%...tel%20i3/i5/i7)

There is a feature on MSI motherboard, OC Genie II: Auto OC to boost performance in 1 sec. Is this feature for real or just a gimmick ?

Took me a week just to choice a Mobo for my i3-3220, now I have look at virtu MVP feature too. Some reviews say it does not increase the minimum FPS.

It does work, and most board manufacturers have their own overclocking feature for their boards. How far OC Genie can bring your components though depends on your board and your components' limitation. Don't expect too much from an Auto overclocking feature laugh.gif.
*
I guess I go for manual overclock. Now suddenly people mention about this Virtu MVP thingy, which is like using both iGPU and GPU to boost performances. Why nowadays motherboard also pattern banyak banyak. doh.gif

Question : Would there be anyone willing to buy a used casing and PSU only? Because I want to sell my bitfenix shinobi and 550W enermax and upgrade to carbide 400r+enermax 650W is there any "cases" where people do this?
*
How's the case condition ? Damn I am interested. PM me ! nod.gif

thanks bro for the suggestion  smile.gif  how about intel 17? adn is there any significant different between xeon and i7. i did some reading but do not really get the different other than price. btw i do not need casing i already have it
*
Performance is the same for Xeon and i7, Xeon is cheaper because it does not has iGPU(which is weak and useless) and lack of ability to overclock.

Xeon = Price of i5 = i7's performance.

hi thx for ur recommendation, but i'll prefer with SSD+SATA setup.. wanna try SSD lol. and i5 3470 enough? no need 3570?  sweat.gif
*
Just add 120GB SSD for RM300 as primary drive.

But I rather spend the RM300 to get better card.

You pick your choice for your extra budget.

Faster game loading speed, or better performance on gaming.

Hi,

I'm looking for a gaming rig. I'm only in need of the processor, the motherboard and a graphic card. My budget would be RM1.5k for these three. I've read through the thread briefly. Here's what been recommended.

Intel Core i3 3220
Asrock B75M-DGS
Sapphire HD 6870 1GB

Any further recommendation? Currently I have a Silverstone Strider 500W power supply.

CORE I3 3220 1155 3.30 3MB RM344
MSI B75MA-P45 1155 SGL RM229
SAPPHIRE 7870 XT 2GB D5 256 RM849

hi guys! wanna ask what is my next upgrade. thanks laugh.gif
here is my spec,

Samsung SyncMaster 732N
FSP HEXA 500W
Asrock B75M-DGS
Intel i3 3220
GSKILL DDR3-1600 8GB
Sapphire HD7850 OC 2GB DDR5
Plextor M5S 128GB

budget 300++. maybe larger monitor? or gaming keyboard & mouse?  hmm.gif
*
Your rig is just fine, and yes, change a new monitor, HD7850 is mean for 1080p.

Go hunt for good < 21" monitor with your budget.

No problem at all, I would strongly recommend get at least HD7850 for 1080p gaming. Extra bucks is totally worth to replace HD7770 and GTX650Ti.

oh..kk
if i downgrade i5 3470 to i3 3220
the performance in gaming will downgrade a lot??
and other software program still smooth like i5??
*
i3-3220 is still a very powerful 2-core processor.

GPU always the priority in gaming rig.

Nonono, such software require greater CPU like i5 or i7.
