the stock pressure for our campro is 3.5...proton set it to be rich so that during high rev there will be enough fuel supply and the engine doesnt blow...

there's a pros n cons to this...the pros of course to jaga the engine...the cons is the engine sebu...fuel supply too thick thus u didnt get the optimum performance from the engine...by applying fuel regulator, u are free to adjust the pressure...

anyway that's the basic explanation la...for other detailed technical explanation go ask some one else...

and things just keep getting more and more confusing.

so far people that told me bout their settings:
1) 3.6 - 3.7 PSI
2) 4.0 - 4.2 (not sure what unit)
3) 4.0 - 5.0 (not sure what unit)

my main concern is simple acceleration improvement be it smoother acceleration or faster and of course not damage my engine.

The gauge are either in bar, psi or or kg/cm2.
If your gauge show 100, measuring are in psi as 4 bar is roughly around 59psi. 4 bar is around 4.08kg/cm2. It's not the exact calculation, just closer.

Good tuner usually set it depend on whether you are on stock fuel pump and stock injector or using the likes of heavy duty fuel pump with over 250lph pump capacity.

Don't forget to change the clogged fuel filter during installation of FPR.

Almost every car has a proper fuel filter. Which need to change after 40k km or so. Its not a normal dirt trap. Car alone has few dirt trap. beside the one you mentioned, there is one inside the big hose that goes to the tank, and the FUEL FILTER is located along the fuel line underneath the car on the driver side
