I saw a newly launched tyre from Nexen, model Nfera SU1. Anyone have tried this tyre before? Price, performance, wet, dry, fuel consumption, noise?

Ya, I also got the price and it's quite reasonable. I was thinking of trying this instead of N8000. The ratings was good, but not sure if anyone have tried it before. Per donut is around RM270...

I can't remember the name of the shop, but it's in Kelana Jaya. Same row as the Public Bank, but the other end. The size I enquire is 205/55-R16. Do you know anyone have tried it before? I wonder if the performance is better than N8000, cos the spec shows quite impressive.

Well I'm currently using N8000 205/45/17... Bought them at RM290 each in JB... I got a really good deal then!

Wow, saw your pictures and it looks scary... I sometimes drive 160km - 180km on certain stretch and imagine if it blew during that speed. Good thing I didn't buy Nexen tyres. I just change to Yokohama C.drive 2. Impressed with the performance so far.

Ya, I agree... as the C stands for Comfort, but I feel it's all rounder tyre. Silent so far ok, cornering on dry is good. Don't feel much body roll, as it stick to the ground. As for wet, I don't dare to try yet. Too many cars around, and too near to the divider, but didn't feel the drag/slip when run over puddle of water. Probably it's still new I guess.

cornering on wet is pretty bad, however on straight lines, it's pretty stable. speeding under heavy rain also not too bad. if really flooded (water over tire height) then definitely will aquaplane though sweat.gif
