Is it possible to get a PhD in less than 3 years? As far as I know this Head of School of KDU has a Master degree in Fine Arts without doing a Bachelor degree. Maybe he's a genius for such achievement. I'm interested to go have a look although I'm staying quite far in Nilai. Anyone know how long (min years) would it take to do a PhD in a local institution?

But don't you think everyone has an expertise in something? Besides the economy is built up by various kind of jobs - an overflow of doctors will cause many of them to be jobless for example.
I just want to know what are the average years people take to complete a doctorate programme (full research that is). It doesn't matter the discipline. And is 2-3 years considered impossible? |

I went to the talk.
In the end he didn't mention about how he completed his PhD in the shortest time. He said he chose to send his proposal to the least well known university which was not strong in research so that his chance for getting selected as a PhD candidate was higher. He even short listed Unimas as his choice. There you go... wasted my time there... This post has been edited by speckylaydeee: Dec 5 2012, 02:56 PM |
