yes, u are right. i noticed this issue also... sometimes rightmost side near to driver side, it is blowing hot air instead of cold air indeed.. i noticed this prob only happens depending on the setting of the temperature vs outside weather.

e.g. if outside temperature is 25 degree as per indicated at the speedometer there... and I set 25 degree also for the aircon... it will blow hot air.

but if i set 24 degree (which is lower than the detected outside temperature), then it will work as per normal (blowing cold air)..

i suspect it is trying to adjust the inside temperature to match the set temperature becos outside temperature is lower or same..
or this could be purely a bug....

The Service Center replied as below when I challenged about why Honda is not honoring the discount.

"because as stated here not all hybrid battery models entitle for this discount pricing, and when we key in your car plate number in system, it doesn't appear any special discount entitlement."

Should be… but whether still have spare parts. Subject to availability. But 2011 insight is going to be 14 years old soon but the hybrid battery is still working fine.

You still on first hybrid battery since the new car? If yes that's incredible, as some of my friends' Toyota Prius, Prius C, and even Lexus CT200h already replaced their hybrid battery due to system indicating battery problem...

BTW I think Insight got a batch (facelift version) that having engine problem requiring overhaul right? The engine will consuming engine oil...

yes. Still on the original hybrid battery since I bought the car in April 2011. Never change anything before.

And the hybrid battery is still working now that gives the 0.2 hp to the car still.

2012 (facelift) is the one that has prob for engine that requires overhaul.

2011 is quite reliable I would say. No major prob I encounter except the aircon and dimmed headlamps else the rest is ok.

Ic. My car 90% time 1 person inside. Sometimes 2 persons. So my absorbers are still good after 14 years.
