I think you did the update via the Setting -> Update, please refresh the firmware via the Restore button to have complete new firmware update.

Just goto my skydrive, there is one document Firmware upgrade step by step guide. Follow the method B to do fresh upgrade.

The only way to resolve your issue is to apply clean firmware upgrade via method B. It is always advisable to apply new firmware via the clean method in order not to have skip version gap or firmware version conflict side effect.

Yes, you can run Kodi 15. But please to be noted that some Kodi addons might not ready for 15. I presumed you know what is Kodi addons.

Q16 can support HDMI and RCA in parallel.

Sorry bro, Himedia do not have new firmware for dual core model Q5II, Q6II, Q10II and Q16II.

The "incompatible" message error rectified after firmware 1.0.9 and works well with tvapp.so 1.1.4.

However, after weeks tvapp.so force upgrade to 1.1.5 which cause some device randomly load infinitely. You may read further in my Q16 thread, some buyer have no problem with Tvapp.so and some buyer have infinite loading. The problem is weird, hope the new tvapp.so version 1.1.6 could solve it.
