1. i think all the streaming video apps like pps, youku, had blocked oversea ip, mean certain movie drama we can't view it, do u have solution for this?

2. does Q5 have any pre-installed up todate TV channel i can directly view it?

3. does Q5 have movie size limitation that i can play on it? my collection mkv >10gb, bdmv >30gb.

4. is Q5 still strong in the production cycle? got any rumors new model coming out ?

5. Different between Q5 & Q10? i really want the usb3.0 >.<

6. length of the HDMI cable in box?

No problem bro, just need some time to prepare and response to your questions.

1). There is way to unblock it just you need some effort since it is free.
2). The preinstall TV channels only cover China TV channels.
3). I have tested 37GB MKV with DTS sound.
4). I ask the same questions to HiMedia last week, the answer is NO replacement model for Q5. But the 600 and 900 series model running Android 2.2 and 2.3 will be obsoleted soon.
5). As you said there is USB 3 and embedded casing for SATA disk and 1GB Ethernet port. As we shared to our customer, we will not bring in Q10 until next firmware release. Q10 is not cheap and just released last Dec, we would like to ensure no issue before sell.
6. The HDMI cable is about 1meter long.

Buying Android TV box is different from choosing tablet with fastest processors or number of cores. The important is the audio and audio codec and the reliability of the box and Operating System. The most important is the support from the hardware principle and continuous bug fix and firmware upgraded.

Thank you bro, Openbox S10 is satellite receiver which is different from Andriod TV player. Beside playing TV channels, Android TV Box could perform the below functions :

1). Play media files MP4, MKV, RMVB and etc with full HD resolution and high quality audio codec, 5.1 or 7.1 channel.

2). Use as PC to browse Internet or email.

3). Works similarly as Android phone, down load and execute Android Apps or Andriod Games.

4). Airplay the music from iPhone or iPad to your sound system(Hifi/AV receiver)

5). Share files with PC or vice versa.

Andriod player is not mean to replace Astro but additional entertainment equipment at your home.

Yes, when you choose PC, you should choose the CPU and RAM because most of the PC are guaranteed by branded manufacturer like Dell, HP, Sony, Hitachi or etc. You do not worry about support and services.

But if you buy smart phone, I think you will first choose Apple, Samsung, HTC then only CPU. Similarly, when you choose Android TV box, you should choose the brand first because the reliability of the hardware and operating system is critical.
