TS, I would seriously suggest you to take part time enrollment. Get yourself certified.

Welding is serious business. Our government's vocational scheme, SKM (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia), as far as I recall, is still widely recognized. Even if you take part time, 2 years is all you need to get a LEVEL 3 certification (which is pretty darn good, enough to apply to work with major weldsmen).

Level 4 and Level 5 is mainly for high-risk welding (like underwater welding, etc).

But i really would suggest, even if its basic, get a level 1 certification from any places that does SKM certification level 1.

usually any hardware sell it. some hardware provide cut off saw for u to get the bars to be cut & fit it in ur car.
deswai i suggest u buy a grinder + a smaw set. u can plan the measurement 1st & straightaway cut at the shop.
the grinder is just for u to trim or maybe do some correction cutting only

yes u can buy even 1 piece. i always use 1"/3mm/6m angle bar if using smaw. around rm30/pcs

if u buy from dealer/steel hardware the price will be much lower

this is hollow bar. very not advisable for smaw or beginner. if MIG can la.. if u try weld on these sure lobang2 one
these hollow bar harder to get at most hardware as it only used in grill works.
