I have a friend over 35 and she has minor acne. She looks like a baby girl and she is pretty though.

What's best if she does not want to use Accutane or Isotretinoin?

Any LASER or LIGHT treatment which works long term ?
Her acne is mild, not too bad. I don't know what type though. Hehe.

What makes you think so? It is extremely effective for some people. Cheap as well.

personally, when i was a lot younger, benzoyl peroxide never worked

and for some, it only worked as long as they were applying it (acne returned after
application of product stopped)

i guess it produces different results on different individuals but it would be
great if it were a permanent solution that works for any or more people out there

edit:
no harm exploring, will show her this thread. hehe. and your reply. thanks

The acne regimen method suggests applying LOTS of benzoyl peroxide, instead of the measly amount which is usually suggested. She can consider the regime after reading about the regimen properly and also reviews from others smile.gif

All the best to your friend icon_rolleyes.gif

Most people apply benzoyl peroxide wrongly, hence they find it ineffective.
Almost everyone I know that uses benzoyl peroxide find it effective, especially those that are older and have the occasional one or two pimple popping out.

The Acne thread also has lots of people sharing their experience with the given benzoyl peroxide regime.

i used that before, it works for me (it is seems to be short term solution; It was effective no doubt) but it is for short term suppressing/ or neutralize the infect area. Sometimes, the acne still keep breakout, but then the "panoxyl" has to re-apply on the face to make it go away.
I bought 2 times of it, now i still have it but stop using it.

I go for skinoren (RM30++), as Guardian pharmacist advised me to try it first. i did not say it is a permanent solution (The skinoren). but i intend to find a product that would go deep and heal the skin condition (eg. pigment) or prevent acne from re-occurring.
