my waja 1.6M FC is normal, in fact better than my wira 1.5A.

full tank to 1/2 the meter can give me around 600-650KM and i will refuel at that mark. I found that a lot of waja owner complaining about the meter. those with the new waja is seeing the same too?

the new campro have a very nice interrior, but don't know about the engine

what about the paint on the door? i don't notice any issue about the door ...

if after the alignment the steering is not straight, sometimes to the left and sometimes to the right, the steering rack bushing might be faulty.

if you have a problem with an SC, try getting second opinion from other SC. try to ask around which SC is trustable.

certain throttle body can use screw to adjust the idle timing. not all TB have the screw to adjust the idling.

for power window, the front can cost 225-230 each, and there's even third party all metal PW kit, no plastic part at all. I forgot the name, but since it's all metal part, i gave it a try. so far no problem until today.

i DIYed changing both front and back PW, the back ones is quite simple, but the front one is a bit tough; but it's worth the experience.

hi,

the all metal PW kit on sale from this web-link
http://cart.zhapalang.com.my/product_info....products_id=310

this is exactly the same item i'm using, only cheaper from the spare part shop

btw, this kit will reuse the top metal part of the original PW, so do not simply throw away the old pw kit. beside that, the old pw kit will have the motor still useable. keep the old motor for future use smile.gif

man, that's the check engine light. get to a mechanic that has a mut / pdt, scanning tool to check the error code. proton charges rm80, we charge rm60 for the service
*
ya ... check the ecu using mut. normally that light will be off around 8 secs after the switch turned on. i normally let the engine check off first before cranking the engine

if i'm not mistaken, just to connect the mut and check error code, some SC charge around 20-30 only, but if you make other service, ie clean TB and check again, retune, it will cost around 80-100.

if your car still vibrates and you did your wheel balancing, check the engine mounts.

my 2003 waja, all rubber hardened already, changed for rm340 for complete 4 mounts (1.6M 4g18p)

the plastic PW will be a never-ending story. my rear PW also broke, even tho i drive alone 95% of the time, and use aircond, so the rear windows is prcatically closed all the time.

DIY the replacement ... it's pretty easy for me ...

i found that waja engine mounting is much cheaper than kelisa, but i'm not sure kelisa and kenari share the same mounting or not.

change the mouting after 5 years, i don't think there is any problem with that

How the hell can I eliminate bloody squeaking sounds from my car?

Changed absorber and springs still squeaking.
*

you must get the source of the noise? is it coming from the back? if it's from the back there is 2 metal bar touching. open your boot and check the 2 bars near the cdchanger. I put a hard sponge in between the bars and there was no more sound from the back

QUOTE(Tanakwagu_noh @ Feb 15 2007, 12:00 PM)
i tought only proton service centre only can do tuning for ecu...becoz only Proton and EON got the tool.
*

my mechanic have third party reader as well to connect and read the sensors. i don't think it's limited to proton only.

normally change engine oil, and change oil filter every 70k..

*
70k or 7k? semi syn should be change 7-8k, and full-synt at 10k. can't image what will happen to your car if you really change at 70,000 interval

do not start your engine, it'll do more damage.

mechanic will usually drain all oils, petrol, radiator and clean everything up. mind that the labour alone will be around 1k, so nego first before hiring the mechanic

i have a friend with 1.6 auto waja, saved after a flood, with $$$$ of course

One stupid q. Going for service soon. What should i service? First service since i bought this car second hand last time tongue.gif

Is the 4l bottle enough??
*
your engine/gearbox oil is a must. replace oil filter and fuel filter

check the belts, timing belts is most important. brake pads, tyre threads and allignment is another extras. timing belt is advisable to replace as we don't know if it had been replaced, or the prev owner driving habits and condition.
