my brother is about to get a car after CNY...... currently i am still thinking of either getting new Myvi or Second hand waja.

i owned New saga, quite headache about proton quality but recently i drove my friend waja(AT). Its pretty comfort for my height 188cm. And the sound proof....oklar compared to Saga. I am satisfied with the performance of waja. Handling is smooth, stable and most important more space.

How much a new Myvi will cost? Cos i didnt goto the show room and tested the car with my brother yet. But i think its roughly RM40k++ ?

A second hand waja cost around 30-35k++ as what i saw in mototrader.

is it worth if i get a second hand waja compared to new myvi?

frankly speaking, i think waja suit men.....hmmm he is going to drive the car in my hometown, i think maintenance wont be a problem since my dad is a mechanic and most of his friend are mechanic too. In this field, my dad will be able to get the spare part, others services like air-cond,exhaust.....etc in quite a cheap price compared to other people.

what i heard from my father friend who repaired quite alot of waja...... Power Windows is the problem...and it is expensive.


BTW, those car accident and "injured" badly .... their record can "Vanish" in PXSPXKXM .

I am going to buy Waja 1.6 M, mitsu engine second hand this month. Already asked my friend who worked in the car shop to look for me. Normally, for car below 5 years will cost Rm35-40k right?

However, Manual is so hard to find.... there are alot of auto car instead.

In penang, i attempted to 1 shop , 2005 Mitsu engine Auto, Selling Rm40k.

My father keep persuading me to get new car with "new" design. btw, proton is having promotion right now, if u purchase new car u will be entitled a Rm3k+ holiday. Try to chat with the Proton Live staff and u will know.

If you were me, what would you choose?

Hi, may i know that whether Waja 05(end of) having ABS and AIRBAG? Cos the sales agent told me there are few available , its only 42k. BTW its mitsu engine.

FYI, New campro has leather seat, ABS, Dual Air Bag , Selling RM56k for Manual.

Got mine Waja campro 07 on yesterday....Took half day leave then rush back to hometown to get the car.

This is a..... maroon red i called it. The performance overall is not bad, i took Manual one. Good pickup and inside is comfortable. I try this in the highway with my dad. smile.gif

However, still dont know how to use the Bluetooth thing.

Number plate holder? not sure leh, its all in the price isnt it?

Penang's number very fast one, one of the reason is ppl like us(alor star ppl) takes Penang plate lol , even Kulim all P's car

i got it from Proton edar in Jalan Pegawai there, Beside HSBC bank.

I got some clue on the Bluetooth after googling, seems like we need to buy another Bluetooth adapter from clarion...... in order to use it. There is one and only one Clarion authorised shop in Alor Star. Its located in Mergong. Wheely Sounder is the shop name. I will goto ask for it on weekend.

I plan to Install my PSP to the car since we have AUX input in radio. squareball, want to join me? U can play movie in car as well. icon_idea.gif

Finally, an answer to Bluetooth Ready Clarion....from Clarion Malaysia.
Even call centre in Proton also dont know whats it is for and how its work.

squareball, Mine is Manual car, i tried to reached 120km/h then my mom at back yelled "slow down slow down..." lol

BTW, i just drove my car for less time 2 times cos i leave my car at there for tint. I will observe those problem u mentioned this weekend.

The car has improved alot i can say, my gf father is driving 5 years old waja btw. But dont u feel that the engine sound/noise is louder than mitsu engine?

Shell - Rm102 - 385KM( can go further but i pump it anyway) - Town Drive + Highway.


Squareball, my accelerator pad is normal at 110KM/h and above.

topimerah- Squareballs asked me whether the accelerator pad vibrate or not if the speed go up above 110KM/H.

WhitE LighteR - RM102 is the first time to pump in the car when i got it last week. The tank is really empty. And i just pump it for second time this week after drive for 382km, but i think i can go futher 50-80KM until the tank really empty.

BTW, mine is Campro Manual .

I was previously driving Saga 1.3, then when i switch to this car, i face 2 difficulties,


1. Side parking is a challenging task, The car is wider,longer my measurement is even harder.

2. Speed, I was on highway yesterday, i .............. cant control the speed. Simply lap can go up to 130-140 tongue.gif

i think u will get better cosumption after 1st service n above, my waja campro b4 1st service (odo clock at 300km) when i running
maintain 80 - 90km/h RM90 = 540km only, but after 1st service (odo clock at 2500km) RM90 = 620km/h but running 90 - 110km/h...
hopefully after 3rd service can get more better but for me its just nice for 1.6 auto car..

just want tu share, my friends (use 1st model waja campro) say to me, he done 1st 2nd and 3rd service with fully synthetic engine oil for
1000km, 6000km and 11000km..., and now he just maintain with semi synthetic he get RM90 = 660km... But sorry im not do that
because so rugi for me to use full synthetic just 5000km smile.gif ...

My dad will solve the engine oil problem, i think he is probably recommend me Shell Helix semi synthetic.
