RVP or Ando the new Cantona in the making.

IMHO, I think Anderson is the man who can turn the tides for MUtd.
Look how he change the game in the matches he started for MUtd.
His only suspect is his fitness level, at this moment can only last between 60-70 minutes. Maybe should take some tonic booster or work out his stamina more (and party less) to overcome this issue. flex.gif

There will only be one King Cantona.

In term being the 'talisman' for the current squad, both Rooney and RvP are potentially suited to be that, but Rooney seems to strive only when there are other 'star' as well playing. Just like when CR7 and Tevez were still playing.

While Cantona, him being there was enough to lift the whole team.

not king cantona but eric the king laugh.gif

rooney hasn't settled much into the talisman role saf wanna put him in, although he is important for the club, you're right he does his best not having the stress of carrying the whole team.

but since cr7 left we haven't had to rely heavily on anyone thankfully, maybe now rely abit on RVP scoring.

Same as me smile.gif

Really want to see the combination of Ando-Clev-Kagawa. Kinda sad SAF still depends on Scholes n Giggsy.

And Im not a fan of Carrick. Hoping Fletch to get back to his best!

We can't really relying on Fletcher too much. His illness is not something that can be cure. So, can't overplay him.

Oo..i checked it and sounds like some serious illness. I guess simmiler to ulcer la. Inflammatory in the colon area. No cure and may strike at anytime. Some sportsman who gets it has to give up their career due to it.
Utmost respect to darren! He is a big man, he will har a long long career ahead of him.

I don't think stamina is a big issue to Anderson, he just need more games. any pro player if keep running to chase the ball will feel tired also...last season we were deprived of cms, now we have Anderson, fletcher, cleverley and nick Powell as well. run out of wingers pula..Valencia and Nani out, n in defence at least, smalling n jones back as we'll.

Stamina is a big issue for him. If he is starting, and keep on playing like he use to, at 70/80 minutes, he will run out of mana ady. Simple, he and rooney have a similar body type. Both keep on running up and down, but only 1 can survive til 90. Yup, he need more time, but that is to keep his form.

I can see the vibes when Rvp signed for United is similar with King Eric.only time will tell.

But King Eric did shape premier league into a whole new level.Simply brilliant

Cantona not only scored beautiful goals at critical moments, but he also lifted the whole team. He played to the crowd. His passes looked simple but absolutely exquisite.

as a pro footballer he has been training in the gym almost everyday for years. even if have high stamina, u stopped playing for a long time and then when u start playing again ull feel tired quite fast based on my own exps..those who play week in and week out will be diff. but maybe he really has stamina issue I'm not sure tho hmm.gif

lol at mana laugh.gif laugh.gif

and Rooney is definitely our talisman now, his work rate and the willingness to sacrifice himself to do the dirty work for others is priceless (remember when he was playing wide left position when Ronaldo was here?).
