actually benitez named as interim manager.......which means temporary manager...they are probably looking for another manager(pep) next season...unless benitez does exceptionally well...then only he will be offered a good contract. But oh well, the fans booed him ..

QUOTE(damnself @ Nov 26 2012, 02:08 AM) end of the season... he's the interim manager luls.Added on November 26, 2012, 8:54 am QUOTE(dlct87 @ Nov 25 2012, 10:15 PM) we waited 15 years after Sir Matt Busby to get to Sir Alex Ferguson, this is how hard it is to find a manager worthy of long term management, and we're extremely lucky as some other club didn't even got that kind of chance (and even if they managed to get their manager to stay for 10+ years, they can't maintain the kind of success that SAF brought) If I may add, I recalled that most of the managers between Sir Matt and Sir Alex didn't do well because Sir Matt was looming in their shadows.so finding someone who can stabilize the ship and has enough personality and ego to handle the burden and expectation during this transitional period would be the priority, hell if Guardiola decides to take another sabbatical 3-4 years from now I am ok with it since his successor will face less burden as our expectation is lowered by the time Sir Alex survives because he embraced this fact willingly, and all of the boardroom (including Sir Matt) knew what he is doing behind the scenes and throw their support behind him. good weekend.. arsenal, pool, chelsea and city all dropped points.. we won..
interesting to see chelsea fans showed their disapprovement over rafa's appointment on a word 'go'. but they choose to finger it to wrong man. rafa is just professional working man. he's jobless and a big club with money and top class players offer him a top job. if chelsea fans are honest, instead of calling rafa out, they need channel their anger toward abramovich, the man fired di matteo and hired rafa.. i guess they just cant live without his millions. |

QUOTE(angel-face @ Nov 26 2012, 09:50 AM) I would say Pep. His method is building stuff from the ground-up. Jose is very controversial, and his method of building teams doesn't give our youth a chance to shine. BUT, I think Jose is a better man-manager though. So maybe either one. But they will be in a very hot seat though. |

QUOTE(angel-face @ Nov 26 2012, 11:41 AM) Even if the reports were wrong, as of now, I would prefer Pep because of his overall methods. Not sure about his longevity though, even for few years, he already couldn't stand the pressure of managing Barca. So between Pep or Mou, it is Pep. Personally, OGS is making his name and potentially could become a sound manager. Have to wait and see. This post has been edited by gr8fr8: Nov 26 2012, 12:10 PM |

seems that my passion of watching football is affected by 2 things.
1-United performance 2-NT performance with NT slumped last night,i kinda lose passion watch football.i just switched the tv off and went playing computer game instead. oh well at least i can concentrate on playing the new CoD QUOTE(beck_ken @ Nov 25 2012, 10:05 PM) ^ Don't think he will manage Man Utd for 20yrs+ as he mentioned before one day he will go back and manage Barcelona. Now he just take some "holidays" from the job. well if he could do a Barca(that is winning like half of major trophy as SAF in 1/10 of the time before leaving),then i don't mind as well. |

QUOTE(siksa @ Nov 21 2012, 03:24 PM) Sorry, Brahda. Apology to all MUtd supporters here. Will take note in da future.I am an Evertonian. But I do follow other clubs like MUtd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Wigan and WBA. Cheers, Added on November 26, 2012, 12:14 pm QUOTE(ayonan @ Nov 25 2012, 02:25 AM) It doesn't matter if you are hating someone. I hate some players too. But to hope for someone, a human being to die are just wrong. What is wrong with you? Saw this match and when QPR was leading 1-0, I thought another comeback or going to be like Norwich game? Luckily for MUtd, Ando & Fletcher did better in midfield which caused the goals within 8 minutes and QPR never recovered from the shock.Btw, we did comeback and Fletcher play his first PL full 90 minutes. Even scored to give us the lead. I agreed that the statement hoping someone to die is uncalled for. All of us may not like certain players, including myself, but we do not wish this people to die. Just that hopefully the manager (SAF) will not pick them in the starting line-up. Added on November 26, 2012, 12:16 pm QUOTE(tehoice @ Nov 25 2012, 12:31 AM) Agreed. Welbeck and Young have "an off-day" in the QPR match. This post has been edited by pingpang: Nov 26 2012, 12:16 PM |
