well, to be fair to AV7, I don't think movement off-the-ball of his surrounding team mates is decent enough too, that's why sometimes he looked like ran out of idea, he clearly missed Rafael, PJ's crossing and passing weren't good too.

anyway, imo draw at Liberty Stadium is still acceptable. Let them be motivated by the draw and sealing win for next 2 matches before going to another tough away match against Wigan.

Valencia has very high discipline when it comes to executing the game plan but he is too predictable, he need to enrich his style of game or we might see more of a similar display in the future.

Really hope that Nani is still in SAF's plan..

yeah....kinda agree wif what you said

from my observation this is what i think laugh.gif

valencia - teachers pet. always follow orders, gets good grades, never gets in trouble. previously, nobody judge him much because out of the limelight now running for student president (no.7 shirt) everyone focusing on how he can follow-up to all the other legendary student presidents.

carrick - invisible man. always gets good grades, no teacher or student ever notices him around, never gets in trouble.

nani - big brother effect. always trying to be like his older brother (CR7) whom was a skool legend. trying too hard to be something he isn't, its a burden.

young - a big fish in a small pond, now a small fish in a big sea effect. the ace student from B class now get promoted to A class, he hasn't excel nor disappoint.

nobody made a run because Valencia stopped moving and just stand still almost every time he got the ball, we can see RvP or Rooney always running forward during attacks, until they give the ball to Valencia, then everything stopped.....

Michu has caused problems for other healthy CB, let alone Vidic who just came back from his long term injuries, its understandable that he's really rusty after so long of lay off, but he did improved over the game though

eh, dont blame valencia lah. eventhough he's not a flair type player like nani, at least he's capable of defending unlike nani. plus, he can cover as rightback.
young, also another culprit. either sell nani or get another flair type winger.

valencia has been like that since this season started, if it was Nani who put out that kind of performance yesterday you will definitely demanded his head by now

and please don't use that "he can help at defense" excuse anymore, he's a winger, his main job is at the attacking end, and he not only contributed nothing, he broke down our attack far too much to be compensated by his "other attributes"

nani already lose it since the start of the season. at least valencia tried to play. why he doesn't improve his capabilities, i dont know? if he's that bad, SAF shouldn't start him at all.

wif his last season's performances, not surprising that we have higher expectations of him than before

he's going thru an inconsistent, below par period rite now...but he's still our best choice on the right wing now...maybe SAF will give him a word or two, quite obvious he noticed somethg he doesnt like by taking valencia off earliest yesterday

to be fair a winger also depends on his backup.
last time becks and CR7 also did their best with gnev behind them.
yesterday his usual partner in crime raf not around.

he played equally shyt with Rafael around, only thing is that Rafael covered Val's arses so good that his problem isn't so obvious, now with Jones who didn't made as much forward runs (or made better forward runs compared to Rafael), Val is exposed

and tbh, he need to start to use his left foot more, the overly right foot dependent is really limiting his options, especially now that he's so off form

as long as we bag 6 more points for the last 2 home games for the year, all is forgiven.

The only positive thing is the sublime passes by carrick, threats by giggsy (albeit due to fresh legs), rvp moves around as all rounder, vidic slowly grew into the game (far better before his second injury)

Hope the lads won't forget the uncharacteristic performance last season where we lost the lead. Keep on scoring lads. Valencia will come through, he is frustrating as any winger out form can be but he should not be that low of confidence.

perhaps a goal or assist in the future game will bring back to his old form.can't wait to see Kagawa

our overall play was good, its our winger and Rooney who f**ked up at the final third, and the defense falling asleep during the Swansea goal

For me , personally I think with so many players who wore the number 7 shirt and became legend has gave AV too much pressure to cope with. From what I see , he is not totally out of idea but a low on confidence and dare not try because he fear of making mistakes. At least that's what my thoughts are.
