QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Nov 20 2012, 02:22 PM) which model TL-MR3420 u are using ? V1 ? V1.3 ? or V2 ? v1.3~ any links on the bin files?have u upgrade to latest firmware ? u can try to download E372 modem bin file and put it on the Web Gui -> 3G -> modem setting. it will help your router to recognize your E372 i tried openwrt also, it detects the modem, but didn't give it a tty port.. maybe need to modeswitch |

As soldering available at my workplace, need some free times to do it, means night shift i dont think u need to.. tried entering the failsafe? then ssh or telnet to the modem?Preparing The Cable http://buffalo.nas-central.org/index.php/U...aring_the_Cable mine worked, but u need to set a static ip for ur lan |

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Nov 27 2012, 03:14 PM) can. as long as there's still life in the router.. like mine did back a few pages.. it helps if the bootloader is still ok n the led still lights up, menaning router not handing out ip to connected systems.. this gave me the idea, no serial this expands it.. failsafe connect to lan port.. not wan port.. QUOTE(hairul @ Nov 27 2012, 03:36 PM) Hi, yes..I can only using telnet via putty. Than what should i do? just mount? What code to copy & paste for restoring back? just follow these codes CODE mount_root then CODE passwd change ur passwordthen CODE mtd -r erase rootfs_data (always work for me)if it didn't automatic reboot, use this. CODE reboot -f then u need to power cycle the router manually, an tadaa... ur presented with a clean openwrt... segar dari ladang!! |

QUOTE(hairul @ Nov 27 2012, 06:29 PM) This is mysetup, not sure correct or not. V1 only do as Auto Ping job only. So, i need to communicate from PC to see whether V1 are connect to internet thru V2 or not because from PC , ping unable to respond. Maybe need to bridge? wifi v2 should be off, wifi v1 should be on, pc, homeplug, all lan to v1maybe khairil can comment? ![]() i think.. how bout sifu chuahcs79? should be like this.. ![]() This post has been edited by khairilyazit: Nov 27 2012, 06:46 PM |

yeah.. edited my post with pics.. refer to above.. basically, V2 only connects to mf680 and lan to V1,
meanwhile V1 handle everything else such as wifi and lan connections.. |

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Nov 27 2012, 06:53 PM) yeah, that's how i use, as long as openwrt router is in, no matter 1st or 2nd, it will confirm auto ping google thanks sifu.. that is correct way khairil Added on November 27, 2012, 6:55 pm yeah, that way V2 will work better dialing mf680 alone and v1 will work better with wifi or lan alone,.. it is like 1 processor with 2 core compare with 1 processor with single core theory if the cpu of router loading very busy, it wont be good for the 3G dialing or wifi either one i'm thinking of getting a homeplug what model would u guys recommend? |
