QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Nov 23 2012, 09:14 PM) if u want to disable the wireless well from my 3 years E&E experience, no such thing... i mean theoretical ~~~ -> 192.168.0.1 -> sign in -> wireless -> untick the enable wireless router radio -> click save Added on November 23, 2012, 9:15 pmsome believe disable the wifi will give the router more power to dial the 3G modem and supply more power wor,.. thanks bro, now i know radio mean wifi signal~~~ |

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Nov 23 2012, 09:26 PM) ] maybe he aware that you got god like internet connection ~~~ well i off my wifi because there is someone in my same block try to hack my wifi before,. my chinese anti virus alert me and i kick banned his mac id, from that day onwards i off my wifi, only use lan cable,. well i agree that router is built for 3G and wifi both, some user here believe that off wifi can give more power to 3G function anyway i turn my router wifi on again, home plug wifi signal not strong enough for whole house....(which is totally expectable...) |

QUOTE(n0v1ce @ Nov 24 2012, 10:57 AM) ping is more stable.previously speed test, 50% chance i get 40-60ms, 50% chances about 60-200ms. now 90% 40-50ms, 10% 50-200ms (3G isnt as stable as FO connection, deal with it) for the speed, dont hope too much. previously 50% chances i get bet 5-8mbps, 30% will get either 3-5mbps or 8-12mbps, sometime gone crazy 20% chances will get about 1-3mbps or 12-18mbps. now 60% chances i get 6-10mbps, 30% about 3-6mbps or 10-12mbps, 10% below 3mbps or above 12mbps. i hardly see huge improve only about 10-20%, the speed affected by many issue, signal strength only 1 of its. specially when my signal strength already 60% without antenna, with antenna it will improve to 80% but the speed wont be improve that much. however if without antenna the signal strength is below 40%, i believe the antenna will bring significant results. |

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Nov 26 2012, 06:23 PM) dont need to mention anything,. i dont, i try many of other modem and router but none of the adapter can fit in.just pass it to them and say it suddenly didnt work anymore, do u have old V1 or V1.3 ? if u have, try to swap the power plug adapter and use it to test whether your V2 can power on with V1 power plug ? if dont have, then direct claim warranty, just mention when u wake up and it dont work anymore i wonder why those modem router use a universal plug which can fit in all device that use 12V 1A. |

QUOTE(digilife @ Nov 26 2012, 07:02 PM) Your Panel got struck by Lightning? no idea, i dont have time to use a notebook to climb up and test the signal....How come the Huawei dun get fried but instead your Router gets it? Can your panel still be able to use anymore? I guess Chuah is lololuen now as he too have his Panel facing outside and higher than yours too. but if the panel just a piece of metal and no electronic component, i think it will survive.... |
