QUOTE(digilife @ Dec 19 2012, 12:40 AM) I ditched N16 and looking at this now Yep, it is user friendly unlike mikrotik. But Mikrotik also can do 3G load balancing, you just need a dual usb hub.http://www.draytek.com/.upload/Demo/Vigor2130/v1.5.2/ play around with the demo and you also can use it for Fibre in future current promo price rm480 , no need to flash Open/DD Wrt, its Os is powerful yet user friendly unlike Mikrotik Higher end models cost > a few k's btw, I take mikrotik because of their hotspot and user management. Does draytek have hotspot function too? |

QUOTE(digilife @ Dec 19 2012, 07:00 AM) i afraid not, as i also done some research and was told that Mikrotik RB751G-2HnD only read from one USB Modem although you plug in a "live" usb hub to connect 2 usb modem but Draytek will do Load Balancing with its Vigor 2130N Sure? Coz I just read somewhere in other forum that he try to do 3G load balancing. Perhaps I still not read carefully till last result. price of Mikrotik = rm350 and Draytek 2130N = rm480 ( promo price) ~ actual price = rm1.xxx Well, maybe you can try draytek instead. And don't forget to update its performance here. I'm looking forward to it. |

QUOTE(greenlp_87 @ Dec 19 2012, 10:29 AM) very tempting! Yes it is supported. any broadband user can give their review about this router? btw this my first time heard about draytek, and their customer service also very tempting. I already search on their forum, and they help their customer until them satisfied. |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Dec 19 2012, 05:34 PM) The price sounds slightly overpriced to me although it is a lot cheaper than overseas since I am able to reproduce those feature in OpenWRT with 1043ND if I am not lazy. Speaking about hotspot, does draytek has hotspot function as well? But I might just change my mind if the poison is strong enough I need to do some homework on the 3G compatibility part, worry later incompatible with my lovely E398 And some modem with bad packet management would slow 3G down, specifically TP-LINK MR3020 I am very confident with Mikrotik performance actually since I used in my past hotspot project yet it is RM3XX only. I can see Web Portal function in the demo, I think it is same function as mikrotik hotspot? |
