lately i`ve seen the difference in the cost of ipad mini and ipad4 for singapore and usa.

apparently USA is alot cheaper compared to Singapore.


ipad mini 16gb clean costs around RM1000.XX in USA , and around RM1180 for singapore.

meanwhile

ipad 4 cellular cost RM2080 in singapore and RM1927 in USA.



What do you guys predict for our country ?

Currency rate difference is probably the case. Based on most Apple products, Malaysia is cheaper than S'pore. rAnged between rm100 - rm300 cheaper. Thats why some Apple store in Malaysia in some cases require Malaysian I/C as proof. A lot of S'poreans cross the border and buy them here.

do u think that the ipad4 will retail exactly as same as the new ipad? 3rd gen ones , 1499 , 1899 etc.

That's a bit expensive. My ballpark figure would probably be around RM1k range for the lowest end and RM1700 for the high specs. Dunno lol.

Not entirely true ... Don't forget that the prices in USA is still before the sales tax (spending which state you are in) .. In face, the prices in Singapore are already inflated with the GST which you (as a tourist) are allowed to claim back once you leave the country - only for those at travel out using air travel unfortunately ... So technically ... The iPad mini 16gb should still come back to about rm 1050
