flash omega v7 and.... the shutter sound is gone!!!!

renamed that as well but nope.
strange. the 4.2 camera did not have focus sound. same to my CameraFX.
only the stock camera has focus sound
nvm then, juz use 4.2 to do ninja shot. but i'm really curious on which file its using for stock camera.

On of the few still on stock? Lol. Same here. Too lazy to root nowadays. Blame the game datas.

trust me - Omega (at least for V6, haven't tried V7 and V7.1 yet) is identical to stock, just add the option to remove some samsung bloatwares. If not for the boot animation, you won't know it is custom rom. Of course, if you are resistant to root, then stock ROM is the only way to go.

What does rooting have to do with the game data?

Your phone have to be rooted to disable sound from camera. use file explorer and go to system/media/audio/ui folder... locate all these files :

- cam_start.ogg
- cam_stop.ogg
- camera_click.ogg
- camera_click_short.ogg
- shutter.ogg
- shutter_multiple.ogg
- videorecord.ogg

rename all format file from .ogg to .old

Actually I dobt mibd restoring apps..just that pld habit die hard old habit = lazy

Me too..and if u noticed,when u use stock browser,u can zoom in n zoom out with just slide ur finger btol2 tepi kiri/kanan..u slide ke atas zoom in,u slide ke bawah zoom out..:-)

Lol. Not only game data. Some of the games I play have really big files and for now, until I finish them at least, can't root, can't move. Won't want to download again. (For now.)

P.s Slightly new user for note II now. Testing someone's set for a week. Loving the S-Pen. Lol.

man just noticed that omega 7.1 is out. what's the diff between 7.1 and 7.0 anyway? the uber big file size kinda turns me off.

Anyone want silent camera sound shutter n autofocus and also off starting sound,just download this file and replace volume.db in system>etc..

I timed my restart

from the first instance that the Samsung GT-I7100 pop up till the lock screen takes exactly : 24 seconds

If rename all this file,touchfocus sound stilll there..

Your definition of rooting is wrong. Root does not wipe anything.
