The vibration noise is when the exhaust hit the bodykit?
If yes, i only noticed once when I start my car in the morning last 2 days, the exhaust vibrate a lot, and it hit the bodykit for about 1 minute, then it gone when the engine stabilized.

Should b just a loose nut. Being to SC let them verify. Shouldn't b a big deal.

Mine AT, at 2 last bars, city driving 400-420km; city driving + lot jam/idle 360-380km; kl-Malacca only used 2bars+; kl> kelantan>kl 5pax 3d2n trip RM 140 fuel.

My experience, Caltex smooth n responsive, shell balance performance n extra mileage, Esso/Mobil/Petron average, Petronas/BHP slightly below average.

I think the fuel consumption should b stable after 10k mileage.
Still monitoring, just marked 11k mileage.

Recommending https://www.fuelly.com
For those who do manual monitoring as I do so too. Easy to update n track record. Readings in car meter not as accurate as our manual calculations.

hey guys... i'm considering an almera, but the talk about only 1 coat of paint and the paint easily chipping off sounds quite scary.

also, wondering whether the fact that the seats are not collapsible pose a problem?
*
Soft paint is the common "characteristic"of nissan, not only almera. Those that have paint peeling off are exceptional case. Once the car is on the road, definitely will have some chips.
Foldable rear seats is useful if you always have to traffic oversized/long item, else it doesn't affect much.

hi again, was wondering if any almera owners know if the price listed here is the total price that needs to be paid when the millage reaches?

http://www.tceas.com/almera.html

i tried calling up penang branch to find out...they don't even know they have this. sad.gif bad product knowledge.
*
Yes. Those r the exact price, unless your car need extra service or wear & tear need to change then need to pay additional.
I've been through 3 services, all Price charged as the schedule, no more no less.

oh nothing...because im having a headache deciding whether to go for honda city low spec or almera high spec...they're both very close in terms of pricing so i'm looking at everything. Honda's gonna gimme 5 years free labour if i buy it so i would wanna calculate almera's maintenance fee too.

i'm curious...why did you guys choose almera instead of honda? or any other car close this range
*
For me there is no car at this price tag that could match the cabin+boot size, City has boot size as good but not the cabin, I'm kinda tall too n almera is the only B segment that I could sit comfortably at the rear seat behind my driver setting.
Maintenance cost wise it is 40-60% cheaper than Honda (even after deduct the labour fees). + 10k service interval.
Another reason is New Vios is coming out no point buying current (but new vios using same engine, transmission n platform; I'm not gonna wait n pay extra for a 10y.o car with me shell); City has been in market since 2009, gonna have major facelift soon, most probably next year.
Almera is new in Msia, Nissan is as reliable as Toyota & Honda. That's y I give Almera a try, so far no regret. It performs as what promised n expected.

Conclusion, there is never a "best car" in this world. Even Merz, BMW, Ferrari... also might get faulty right out from factory.

It's just what you want n which car could fulfil your needs n requirements. As long as it fits n reliable, that's the best car for you. ^^

Anyone having problem when going at low speed, there seems to be some vibration noise. Can it be like mentioned previously the muffler hitting against the body kit? But then the noise seems like coming from the front...

Best solution:send to SC.
Though there r some common issues, but every cars are different. ^^

helloe there, new almera bronze gold owner report in,
i bought an e spec with bk impul wo grille

my question, whenever in the morning after start the engine, after i on the ac, the ac making sound so call jerking , is that normal?

for e spec, they dont provide tempiture meter or logo? like vois or other
*
That's normal. If you warm up your car then only turn on the a/c it would b less noticeable or none.

E-spec doesn't have temp level meter, it will only prompt the indicator of overheating. You could buy aftermarket obd display if want.

Any one know what is body coating?
My SA advise to do body coating for white colour asap after get the car, RM880 at dedicated shop.
Is the price reasonable
*
Paint coating, like a protective layer to resist/avoid/reduce corrosion n colour fading.
RM 880 is reasonable but depends on which brand n grade as well. Coating for sedan size of Almera from 3xx to 2000++.

Oh ya, check their warranty tnc as well, some require you to use their car care products or care care services.
