I am looking at KDK wall mount exhaust fan, promotions now everywhere. I don't think ceiling exhaust fan is ideal since all the wetness goes into the plaster ceiling. But I can't decide what size to buy - 8', 10' or 12'....hate cleaning it.

i just got the aireguard exhaust fan installed in my bathrooms. pretty good, rather silent and the air is extracted outside but if not in use they use flaps to prevent outside air (and critters) to come. to me worth it. looks a lot better than exposed exhaust fan smile.gif

A proper ceiling exhaust fan have a ducting hole. WHich need ducting to channel the air out.

Airegard have many series & model nowaday, before you buy just need to measure how big of your toilet, because there are difference performance for difference model, just like air-cond. FYI, those good looking designs only for ceiling mounted.

All my first floor room installed kdk ventilation fans. Been practising this method for few decades. Is good because it suck in fresh air from outside. Before switchin AC I switch on vent fan for 15 mins, it help cool the room to outside temperature and AC cool it further down.

I just bought a condo while i am thinking to install a ventilation fan on my toilet which just at middle of the unit layout. Toilet window opening will be my backyard but my wife plan to convert into kitchen, so i cannot install those glass mounting type ventilation fan.
My contractor said can install those ceiling type ventilation fan but i think all the air and humidity will trap above toilet plastic ceiling.

Any recommend here.

Guys,

Need your inputs here.

1. Which KDK/Airegard model do you recommend for bathroom?
2. Which model is comparable with Airegard AS-6090?
