Bro, I'd hope you can give some impressions on the Flat-4-sui IEM. Thanks.
Something about the bass,mids,highs,stage,separation,comfort,etc.

Heard that it's a very bright iem. Oh ya, btw, the Flat-4-kaede got already?

Hi, I was introduced to IC/LOD cables (or what they appeared to be) at the store a while back. Can you explain difference it makes to sound quality on amps?

Very little. In fact it's the last thing you want to look at. If you have tried different setups and had done everything you can within your knowledge, and still want that last little bit of change, an IC or LOD would be your next step. Persoanlly I haven't experienced anything worth noting when changing from a stock IC to a well built DIY IC (I bought one from a forumer here. Had Canare plugs and high quality cables. Quite decent for RM90+). There are ICs that can cost upwards of RM600, haven't tried those. But from my experience, it's the very last thing you would pick up, and you should invest in the best source and amp first.

But investing in a decent quality IC wouldn't hurt your budget much. They'll last longer and look better (but most of them are bulky).

Belum cuba belum tau.
Sekali cuba semua mau brows.gif

No la, some would settle down with a cheap LOD/IC and some would prefer to use no less than Rm300 IC. Whatever that is, the question remains, can you hear the difference yourself? If you can't, then the basic one (well shielded cable) will do.

Me personally prefer (if got money) change headphones because I can notice the sound differences more clearly than cables/amp/dac. Not to say there's no difference, but the impact of good headphones on me is too hard to resist icon_question.gif

esw11 yummy.

I wanna look for an IEM to replace my eterna. Mostly for mainstream music, got my DT880 from you for other musics.

This IEM will be used on portable device, iphone mostly. Good isolation, small plug, comfortable to wear and not fatigue after long hour. Listen on flight. Lastly good build quality, the hippo, eterna, crossroads all wear out after a while, still usable but annoyed me.

Mainstream music mostly R&B, Pop, Dance, EDM. Going back Malaysia tomorrow so can buy tongue.gif

And why am I not informed of such a seller?
Just kidding. laugh.gif Does he have an actual shop or does he do business at home?
So why not he represent Jaben at PC fairs? Well I haven't been to the local PC fairs in a while so I don't know if it has already been done. Would be a good idea to introduce budget stuff here.

Hi Walabies,

I'm currently using Altec Lansing's MX5021. However, recently, I hear crackling sounds every now and then from the left side of the speakers, even when no music source is plugged to the speakers (i.e. switched on, but not fed with any music source).

I have done some simple troubleshooting myself, and found that the problem lies not with the speaker, but with the left speaker's port on the woofer.

May I know if Jaben offers repairs for PC speakers?

Thank you! smile.gif

Brightness I feel it is very acceptable, it is slightly bright, but I feel it is still a bit less bright if you want to compare to likes of Fischer DBA-02, or on par with something like Phonak series.

The very main characteristic of Flat-4-sui is it is eXtrMely spacious sounding. Amazing for an IEM to have such generous space. Overall it will have a somewhat hall-like sounding with resonance in your music, naturally.

Each IC/LOD has its own material. And it will effect the sound reproduced like copper having more warm, adding lows; silver is faster, brighter sound.

If you have the budget maybe you can try the XP3 series. Pearl is warm and rounded sound.
