Well, some new users will probably be happy about the free sim, but real android users know that Android is about freedom. I think the company does deserve a boycott, because they didn't even provide buyers a version without a Digi sim. Ninetology and Digi really thought this through, because as you said, it is a win win situation for them, and a losing deal for the unwary buyer. If CSL manages to get their next MSM8260A dual core phone the right components like an IPS screen, and a better camera, than there will be no reason to get the Ninetology Stealth 2.

Also more happy news about the next dual core CSL phone, it will be released with the Quad core model, and has been confirmed to come with a MSM8260A chip with dual sim and 8MP camera. Oh, and CSL has stated that it will probably come with Jelly Bean out of the box. But by that time, 5.0 will be out.

The Quad core model, unfortunately, will be running on the MSM8625Q Snapdragon S4 Play. The price is a real life saver though, as the aimed price is RM799-RM999, proving cheaper than most Quad cores on the market, and will have 1 GB RAM (finally!). And of course, dual sim capabilities, and a QHD IPS 5 inch screen. And this is just a guess, but I'm pretty sure it will have an 8 MP camera.

They will also be releasing a budget model running the Snapdragon S2's MSM8655 single core CPU clocked at 1.4 GHz soon. And it also has dual sim.

Gosh! That pain in the ass bro.. I thought that this time they can stand by their own without any related with some kind of special intimate bonding such 'U move me and its end! or till death do us part' thingy with DiGi. That's one of the reason I chose CSL over Ninetology.

Pfft

Smart company aren't they, eh? I think Ninetology and Digi had doing some 'usahasama' or MoU in their business.Which company does'nt want profit?? wink.gif wink.gif

yeah i agree with you. Most of the time, my son dropped it on the carpet. But the one i demo to my friend i dropped on tiles haha.

Anyway, its not that high though. I'm just sharing so that ppl know that this so called cheap china phone that some people trying so hard to convince us not to buy is NOT THAT BAD AT ALL. Go on and empty your pockets if you want to buy those expensive branded phone for features that sometimes is just not needed for some of us here. No one is forcing how you should waste your money in to. Your choice.

ps: i got my mi501 for rm600 (from the Lelong seller) bcoz its still new and just announced at that time and people still doubt its capabilities. But now the price up a bit lar.

That could actually be true. I read some time back that JB will run optimally with 1gb RAM. I may be wrong. Anyone out there aware of any other phones that is running JB with less than 1gb ram?

Cranky, still waiting for the pics tongue.gif

Well, take a look at my opinion:
U know that Samsung had announce several of its smartphones will receive Jellybean update;

Samsung Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Ace Plus, Galaxy Mini 2, Galaxy S Duos, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 2.7.0, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and the Galaxy note 10.1

Whereas Sony;

Xperia P, J ,Go,Xperia S, SL, ion and acro S,Xperia T, TX and V.

Perhaps RAM isn't the only vital point to receive any update.Screen resolution and hardware platform also included. Please refer this website : http://www.xperiablog.net/2012/12/17/sony-...ate-criticisms/

There is possibly Mercury Mi501 will get Jellybean update. smile.gif

P.S: Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm still green.

Haha, just having fun. In love with K-Touch V9  shakehead.gif

The weakness of China phones is once broken, it will be hard to get warranty here in Malaysia.
The accessories also are difficult to found... sad.gif

ValityMental,
Here is my suggestions. Why don't u try to browse Huawei devices in internet.
They just release 3 nice model of smartphones in Malaysia last week.
Maybe one of them will attract ur attention. smile.gif smile.gif

No, because K Touch and CSL phones have some similarities, and CSL have a connection with K Touch.

Therefore, this mean the one of the next model from CSL is somewhere resemble to that phone.
