QUOTE(juicyliana @ Jan 14 2016, 07:16 PM) see this link ? Took nearly 4 years to get the right buyer and we finally did. Its now sold to a happy buyer. The point is, classic cars, antiques and collectibles do take time to find right buyers. Its normal. Not like we are selling soap or toothbrushes which are daily essentials. Cheers !!! https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2953509&hl= This post has been edited by caros: Jan 18 2016, 06:22 PM |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Feb 12 2016, 04:29 PM) well this guitar is not a mercedes-of-guitars and the signature is unverified. ...... call us at 0182267394 if you are keen on purchasing. Genuine buyers usually call. Dont be afraid. We wont bite. We will explain the difference between a music-memorablia and an auto marquee. No one claimed the guitar was a mercedes or a rolls. Its a music-memorablia which might not necesarrily be a branded guitar. You seem to pose an awful lot of questions probably because u fail to understand and u also seem too shy to call the number we have been giving since day one which prompts us to wonder if you are a girl sitting in your room feeling bored. If you are, then we would surely understand your coyness and would only be more willing to assist. Please call. Dont be shy. Our staff are here to clear the air for you on all matters pertaining to the item in question. Incidentally, this is a trade-zone, not a forum. Speaking directly is often encouraged to avoid confusion and misunderstandings. Please call even if you have no intentions to purchase or not within our price-range to suit your budget. We will still assist you.let me rephrase that, the guitar is practically an average beginner guitar, it's not a collectible nor an antique in any way. nothing special about the spec at all. you're just selling the signatures and even that is not verified. please, please, give me just one link that verifies this guitar is actually 2/27 in existence. i suck at googling for the other 26. QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Feb 13 2016, 12:36 PM) hah! resorting to insult instead of actually answering a simple question? Sis, we thought so in the very beginning that you weren't a potential buyer. How in the world are you going to fork out RM29,000 when you hesitate to make even a single call ??? However, the good news is we are are always here to answer your questions and accommodate your tantrums no matter how silly they may sound. no, i'm not gonna buy this guitar just for the unverified signature even if it is dirt cheap. i'd rather spend the money on esp kh-3 or jh-2, which is a more recognizable Metallica memorabilia, even without the signatures. worldwide! i'm merely inquiring about your sale, which is what people do in a public trade forum. you seem to don't understand this concept. it's mind boggling. The Mercedes in question that was sold after 3-plus years on the net, is a 1957 classic. Not everyone's cup of tea but only of interest to collectors. Both the car and the guitar are categorized as 'collectibles' and are expected to take time to dispose off. Incidentally, as you can see in my thread, the buyer CALLED instead of posing a myriad of questions in my listing. He examined the document first hand instead of demanding I post them on the net for all to see. You get the picture ?? The transaction was closed within 3 days. Happy buyer, happy seller. Here, we are taking time and effort to explain to you how a transaction in collectibles is usually done. Purchasing an item is always a private matter. Not a publicity stunt for the would-be buyer to demand for all documents to be flashed on the net. If an enquirer makes such demands, then one can safely assume he has no genuine intentions to purchase but to simply waste time on his keyboard for cheap thrills. However in your case, we are always ready to assist only if you called. As for the guitar, it is a memorabilia and not a branded guitar. Even if it was a branded guitar, a genuine collector would not have to heart to play with it for fear that the signatures might fade. This is basically for display while it appreciates with time to be handed to the next generation who might even choose to sell it at a much higher price. Metallica fan-club members have viewed my clip on youtube and have had no complaints on the signature's authenticity as they are well aware how the band-members sign off on their mementos. Anyone could lift off the images I have posted on my listing and send it to the fan-club for a discussion on their forum. We simply fail to see the rationale of you raising a hue and cry on the net over this item when we have had no complaints from overseas. Please call and we shall see if we can calm your restless spirit. Yes, you may call even if the item does not interest you and even you have decided not to purchase. We get a fair deal of calls daily. Most are just local enquirers, not purchasers but we still accommodate them as we fully understand that the asking price is not suitable to their budget. Furthermore the 'Arts and Collectible' culture in Malaysia is not as developed as that in the West. Cheers and keep those inquiries coming. We shall undertake to answer no matter how absurd they sound. This post has been edited by caros: Feb 13 2016, 03:08 PM |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Feb 13 2016, 09:24 PM) long rant there but i still dont have the answer i politely requested for. Any reputable buyer would not hesitate to pick up the phone and call instead of long-winded messages online. While you are at it, you could also look up the real meaning of the word, 'rant'. The reason we urge enquirers like you to call is because they usually misinterpret our responses. Yes, and we are also wary of fraudulent buyers on the net. If you are not happy with our terms, please look elsewhere. Since no effort has been made by seller to authenticate this item, i suggest everyone report this post to prevent possible fraud on unsuspecting buyer.

The only calls the seller has received to date are from overseas from some interested parties who prefer to view the item first before making any decision, a suggestion which the seller readily welcomes. As for interested parties locally, calls have yet to come to view the item but abuses and criticisms are a plenty. Sigh !!! |
