The point is, classic cars, antiques and collectibles do take
time to find right buyers. Its normal. Not like we are

well this guitar is not a mercedes-of-guitars and the signature is unverified.

let me rephrase that, the guitar is practically an average beginner guitar, it's not a collectible nor an antique in any way. nothing special about the spec at all. you're just selling the signatures and even that is not verified.

please, please, give me just one link that verifies this guitar is actually 2/27 in existence. i suck at googling for the other 26.

no, i'm not gonna buy this guitar just for the unverified signature even if it is dirt cheap. i'd rather spend the money on esp kh-3 or jh-2, which is a more recognizable Metallica memorabilia, even without the signatures. worldwide!

The Mercedes in question that was sold after 3-plus years on the net, is a 1957 classic. Not everyone's cup of tea but only of interest to collectors. Both the car and the guitar are categorized as 'collectibles' and are expected to take time to dispose off. Incidentally, as you can see in my thread, the buyer CALLED instead of posing a myriad of questions in my listing. He examined the document first hand instead of demanding I post them on the net for all to see. You get the picture ?? The transaction was closed within 3 days. Happy buyer, happy seller.

Here, we are taking time and effort to explain to you how a transaction in collectibles is usually done. Purchasing an item is always a private matter. Not a publicity stunt for the would-be buyer to demand for all documents to be flashed on the net. If an enquirer makes such demands, then one can safely assume he has no genuine intentions to purchase but to simply waste time on his keyboard for cheap thrills. As for the guitar, it is a memorabilia and not a branded guitar. Even if it was a branded guitar, a genuine collector would not have to heart to play with it for fear that the signatures might fade. Yes, you may call even if the item does not interest you and even you have decided not to purchase. We get a fair deal of calls daily. let's use your logic, a car has a pink slip, which one can use to verify its authenticity through puspakom or jpj. you have the "pink slip" for this guitar?

i'm against fraudulent trader, and i'm sure a lot of people that visits this site are as well. you keep asking people to call, but you never really answer the questions posted here. any reputable seller here would not be hesitant to provide answers where it is due.

Any reputable buyer would not hesitate to pick up the phone and call instead of long-winded messages online. While you are at it, you could also look up the real meaning of the word, 'rant'. maybe there are no metallica fans here who can give details about this guitar.

Since no effort has been made by seller to authenticate this item, i suggest everyone report this post to prevent possible fraud on unsuspecting buyer.

.... to date no one has called (which genuine buyers usually do) to request for authentication of said item but they have taken the liberty to gripe and groan that the seller has not catered to their 'whim and fancy'.

Anyone who is seriously keen on this item is completely free to call and request for authentication of the same.

The only calls the seller has received to date are from overseas from some interested parties who prefer to view the item first before making any decision, a suggestion which the seller readily welcomes.

As for interested parties locally, calls have yet to come to view the item but abuses and criticisms are a plenty. Sigh !!!
