The reason I seldom complain abt my fc not because I'm richfag and can owiz pump petrol..
It's becos I understand my car have to carry me this big fat guy sad.gif
*
Hi Bro...
Feel anyone who decides 2buy a Gaga, definitely did NOT make his decision based on GOOD FC feature...but more cos of wub.gif 4its other wub.gif features....
As such, 2complain abt its FC is akin 2Crying Over Spilt Milk! Or am I so wrong? rolleyes.gif

Me am very happy with Gaga FC cos compared 2my ole gen Saga:
a. me getting similar FC as ole Saga which was 1.5 3AT!
b. me now using RON95 instead of 97 ie savings of abt RM1/L...
c. me saved abt RM10k in purchase price, not incl interest on that xtra RM10k loan (compared 2a more econ make but costs much much more) which wld pay for years of filling her up!!

.... which I think there must be something we can learn from.

Ofcourse he also mentioned some other stuff like never wait inside the car with idling engine + aircon, which we already know. So I didn't touch those bits, just wanted to share some of his idea that I've never thought about.

Not crying out loud, but I've got so used to 15cents/km. Suddenly a GaGa make me pay almost close to 20cents/km really butt hurt. I'm putting a lot of hope to improve on fuel efficiency, even got into a fight with some senior member(unoehu i tok about) regarding FC issues.
*
Yup, Bro...many many things we can learn...if we keep an open mind & open heart 2accept good logical advice... thumbup.gif

And yup, idling engine with aircon on while waiting is a BIG NO NO!! shakehead.gif Burning fuel but not moving a cm!! laugh.gif
However, with our other half in the car, kinda a case of Hobson's Choice... True?

Yr final comment is juz the opposite of mine.... brows.gif

Sorry to bump back old issue again, but my fuel consumption is really shitty to the max now. 40% highway 60% city, not heavy foot, most also 3k~4k rpm gear change. RM50 can only take me like, 240km? Combined with highway also ( speed <110km/h ). Recently i just changed my extractor and muffler thats all.

That's all? whistling.gif
That is the BIGGEST suspect in most cases of higher FC....worse if poorly/unsuitably set up sys.... rclxub.gif

Hi Bro...
If parameters are stored in ROM, abv won't work... sweat.gif
If so, need appropriate S/Ware 2do a hard reset liao. icon_rolleyes.gif

Got your point there. But whats bugging me is, proton advertise the warranty  as lifetime not 10 years. As if the lifetime of the car is only 10 years

Hi Bro...
That's Proton punya way of defining their Legal Liability Timeframe....a reasonable fixed period or mileage.... tongue.gif

Guys,

Meanwile, I have a series of quick question. For example, if I have Miacabia H4 90/100W and Philips H4 90/100W each a pair. Model/year unknown, which 1 do you think more expansive or reliable? Which would you recommend me to pickup? I only get to choose 1 of them for FREE.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Bro YAB David..,

Philips get 1 vote fr me!! cheers.gif
Why?
Reliability, Trusted Brand, mainstream Lighting Manufacturer, better RnD, etc., etc...incl personal experience with household lighting usage... thumbup.gif

Added on November 20, 2012, 11:13 pmHi agin, Bro YAB David...
My pick of Philips is also backed by my "research" in2 choice between similar Philips & Osram HLamps as H7 replacement bulbs 4my FL.
Most user feedback pointed 2Philips being more reliable, longer lasting than Osram altho Osram did improve on its lifespan abit 4its later versions 2compete... tongue.gif

Whoah! So many GaGa + Gabby owner here geh laugh.gif I think hor, either this happened:

1) Bought Gabby and found it gooding, later BLM was introduced, faster go buy and found out kena tipu bought BLM mad.gif

2) Bought BLM and found it gooding. Later when decided to buy a 2nd car, automatically Gabby become target coz cheap & cheerful. After owned Gabby then found out kena tipu bought BLM doh.gif

My case was the 2nd scenario shakehead.gif

Gabby, being TUV Certified, was supposed 2b boost to Proton's questionable QC image...
However, ext design & problematic semi/auto GBox were huge no-no's in prospective buyers' eyes & hearts! whistling.gif

Feel it's clear & simple enuf 4most 2understand basic V=IR inter-relationships with wat one learns in Sec Sch Sc. cheers.gif
Conclusion?
A simple guideline in GC application is 2give each & every circuit (if possible) a clear R=0 path directly back to -ve terminal of Batt3... icon_rolleyes.gif
To accomplish that, use of good Q highly conductive cables of appropriate thickness that can provide that R=0 path wld b BEST! rclxm9.gif

Bought a new Yuasa batt3 (NS60) from the shop in front my house, connected, crank...

The crank is like in slow motion, can't start at all...check the voltage during crank, not lower than 11v at all.
Push down from my house and attempt to jump start, started but after that dead again.

Ask the shop jump start using cable, same, slow motion...WTF...now the car just park at road side on another street.

Since yu mentioned Starter cranked but very slowly (like no power to crank?), me suspect Starter not getting enuf cranking power lo...juz applying logic...
However, yu did manage 2start it but it died soon after?
So cld b an intermittent fault due2 Starter not getting full elect load at times?
Loose connectors? @Starter terminals...@Starter relay?
Dunno really...need 2b there 2eliminate... sweat.gif

So sorry, Bro...
Hope yu overcome prob with minimal delay & expenses...
