Singapore LTA launched a new version for the Autopass card (chipless, only has magnetic strip) which can be used for public transport payment too.

Downside is that it is not accepted at majority of the current car park systems except for VEP and ERP payments. Current car park systems is NOT able to recognize the new Autopass card. New vehicles entering Singapore needs to purchase the NETS cashcard for car park payments.

guys, help me on this pls...

i will be in s'pore on sat 26/10 (sat), 27/10 (sun) & 28/10 (public hol), via tuas check point.
for vehicle charges, i make a list as follows :

ERP (sat) S$5.00 (no ERP on sun & public hol)
Toll S$2.50x2
RRC S$6.40
Total S$16.40
no VEP for first 10 days.

Is there anything i miss?
can we monitor the usage amount online?

& 1 more thing.. can we get the white card in malaysia before entering s'pore, so that we can fill in the card earlier?

ERP only applicable if you go through any ERP gantry (around or in CBD area), else theres no S$ 5.00 charge at all

Tuas Toll charges
5am - 10am and 3pm - 11pm = S$ 2.50 per way
10am - 3pm and 11pm - 5am = S$ 1.30 per way

LTA new ruling foreign vehicles Autopass renewal is only valid for 6 months if done at LTA office.
For the usual 1 year validity, it needs to be processed online and mandatory for Certificate of Insurance. This is not the same as Insurance Cover Note.

Moving onwards year 2020, only online Autopass registration is allowed.

parking is a pain without the In-Vehicle Unit (IU) /equivalent of SmartTag, as there can be compatibility issues with the Parking Reader Gantry with Autopass card. most of the times, can tap-in however will get stuck when going out and require manual override from Security (prepared to be horned/shouted by impatient rear drivers for at least 15 minutes).

Haven't got the new Autopass with Flashpay so can't comment if this latest version is more friendly. Had to do with separate NETS Flashpay card just solely for parking which can still cause issue when going out.
