Hi,

As per title, I`ve tried a few ways to solve this issue. I checked on the net, and found some solution on here and here, but i still stuck on the logo screen.

I am running out of ideas. Is anyone out there confront with this issue & managed to solve this??

Appreciate your help.

have you successfully flashed the phone? if yes ->

press VOL UP + HOME + POWER

-> you'll go into recovery mode
-> wipe data

then you'll be able to start.

have you successfully flash the ROM? hmm.gif
because if you did, wipe it and give it some time..

it'll boot..

try flashing it again.
and can you explain exactly what you did while flashing?

I did exactly like this:

First Try
QUOTE
STEPS:
1) Open ODIN. Connect ur phone in download mode. just flash Latona.PIT file with Re-Partition selected.
2) Once flashed, Ur phone will reboot automatically but will show only black screen with background light. Do not worry. Open the back cover, remove the battery, insert battery and boot again in download mode.
3) Close ODIN. Open it again. Now we will be installing XXKPE.
i) Select Latona.PIT File in ODIN. (Make sure the "Re-Partition" is unchecked once you have selected PIT file)
ii) Select "APBOOT_I9003XXKPE_CL409735_REV08_user_low_ship.ta r.md5" in bootloader.
iii) Select "CODE_I9003XXKPE_CL409735_REV08_user_low_ship.tar. md5" in PDA.
iv) Select "MODEM_I9003XXKPE_REV_00_CL1041909.tar.md5" in PHONE.
v) Select "GT-I9003-CSC-MULTI-OXAKPE.tar.md5" in CSC.

Now flash it.

STEPS:
1) Open ODIN. Connect ur phone in download mode. just flash Latona.PIT file with Re-Partition selected.
2) Once flashed, Ur phone will reboot automatically but will show only black screen with background light. Do not worry. Open the back cover, remove the battery, insert battery and boot again in download mode.

v) Select "GT-I9003-CSC-MULTI-OXAKPE.tar.md5" in CSC.

Now flash it.

Done flash with XXKPE, I proceed with JPKPH.

Now will install JPKPH.
i) Select Latona.PIT File in ODIN. (Make sure the "Re-Partition" is unchecked once you have selected PIT file)
ii) Just select "I9003JPKPH_I9003OJPKPC_I9003JXKP3_HOME.tar.md 5" in your PDA and flash.

I succeeded flash the phone. But when try to start, still hang at logo. Then I tried wipe cache & data. Still stuck again.

Second Try

I did exactly like this:

Download the follwing files before starting your setup
a. GT-I9003 Flasher + Pit (Latona.pit & Odin)
b. Stock Rom for i9003XXKPE which is available on (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...1#post12310841).
Once your have these files ready.
Start Odin
Click on pit and select latona.pit.
Now connect your phone to your pc/laptop you will see a yellow sign in odin showing the status of your phone connected to COM port.
Now flash it with Latona.pit with re-partition checked and after flashing your phone will boot with blank screen.
Now disconnect the cable and remove your battery and re-install your battery.
Now restart your phone in download mode.

Start odin again Now we will be installing XXKPE.
i) Select Latona.PIT File in ODIN. (Make sure the "Re-Partition" is unchecked once you have selected PIT file)
ii) Select "APBOOT_I9003XXKPE_CL409735_REV08_user_low_shi p.ta r.md5" in bootloader.
iii) Select "CODE_I9003XXKPE_CL409735_REV08_user_low_ship. tar. md5" in PDA.
iv) Select "MODEM_I9003XXKPE_REV_00_CL1041909.tar.md5" in PHONE.
v) Select "GT-I9003-CSC-MULTI-OXAKPE.tar.md5" in CSC.

make sure its the correct version. of the phone. cuz i saw 2 types of models there

okay..open the following website, register and download the firmware files..
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&...type=1#firmware

or if you dont want to register, here you go (same as the files in sammobile) ->
http://hotfile.com/dl/145829197/9a0b020/I9...P7_XME.zip.html

then download this,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703998

then connect your phone in download mode. (VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER),

1. click on PDA -> navigate to your ROM files (inside the zip file should be a .tar.md5 or .tar format)
2. then flash

it is 2.3.4, but you may upgrade it OTA later. since now you have to fix your phone first.

VIEW HERE FOR MORE GRAPHICAL TUTORIAL (this is root process, but it applies as well, ignore the file types):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671969

just view until the command prompt images (ignore the command prompt tutorial as its not needed)

okay smile.gif

i think you should register in sammobile and navigate to the proper ROM files (phone model).
cuz if you flash the wrong files.

your phone will be permanently brick.

boot looping is considered bricked.

permanent bricking im not sure how it looks like. but XDA mentioned alot of times that if you screw up, it'll be permament brick. so far i never kena.

i guess so! to save time maybe you can download this file first, then go home no need to waste time downloading.

but to be safe.. check your phone box and see the details when you get home! smile.gif

anyway..
after you flash you have to go thru the recovery process i stated earlier, you have to wipe or it wont start.

and are the steps completely different from the ones i posted and the ones you've been doing?

I think the steps are somewhat similar, i think maybe i didn`t wipe before start. I mean I tried to start 1st, then cannot, I go back to recovery and wipe. But still stuck at the logo.

Demmit, sounds like da kene bricked! ALAMAK! Once bricked no hope left? cry.gif
