Previous 30% CB promo (Oct-Dec2012):
"A total weekly cash back amount of RM125,000 (“Weekly Cap”) is allocated to each Weekly Cycle and is given to each Successful Participant up to a maximum of RM100 per Weekly Cycle (“Individual Weekly Cap”), on a First-Come, First-Served basis (as defined below) until the Weekly Cap is met."
Which means at least 1250 persons qualified for the CB per weekly cycle.

For Current promo roughly 3 to 4 hundred will qualify per week, so even you qualify on the first day of the weekly cycle, you still have lesser chances than the previous promo, not "sure get".
This condition will kick in if the CB is exceeded:
If the Weekly Cap cannot fulfil the total cash back amount for all Successful Participants with a same Qualifying Date, 30% Cash Back will be awarded starting from a Successful Participant with the highest total monetary amount of all Retail Purchases made by the Successful Participant in that particular Weekly Cycle which has been posted and captured by Citibank during that particular Weekly Cycle.

So spend wisely.

Did anybody get the 30% cashback previously? I have doubts over the selection of winners as winning name list was not published. During the last promo I spent on the first day ard 1215am in the morning. I have called the customer service and asked on the winning list but they just asked me to wait and never called back.

I am skipping this promo for sure. There are better offers in other banks. DO update if u are the winners and good luck!

hello ronnie ... you can actually buy aeon "voucher" and citibank will consider that as part of grocery purchase? if that's the case, then easier to accumulate RM500 within a week ...

I don't see any posting date on citi online, only transaction date, how do they keep track?

Ok I see. By looking at tnc 2c, 2g, and the example saying transaction date, looks like it is still based on transaction date as long as these transaction is posted in that week.

It's arguable. I think even different CS will give you different answer. I still think the qualified last transaction date is the key as long as it is posted within that week.

Btw, how do we know those online transaction is under what mcc?

if they r saying "posting Date" meaning if we buy the day be4, then we have higher chances of getting it posted on day 1 of the promo? Or is this txn not considered? Unfair to use posting date ...hmmf!

Based on my review of past statements.....certain places post within 1 - 3 days after trxn is made except for Petrol which are usually within 1 day.

i wonder if top-up starbucks is considered dining and qualified for this 30% cashback ... anyone can advice??

just wanna share about citibank buy 1 free 1 tgv tickets every friday.

It seems that the tickets is applicable only to the first few rows from the screen.

previously not like that.

I checked at TGV just now. was using the citibank cash back platinum. But i think this new policy is meant for all citibank cards.

Until now only RM100... So a little compare to RM300 and RM250.

Hi guys i rarely used my citibank clear card and its almost 1 year now (i applied for RM300 cashback), in this months statement the government tax and annual fee showed up, its RM50 + RM90 which i dont want to pay, if i settle my balance before the due date and cancel it can i not pay those?
