I think the everything must be done before 2013. Meaning register your car with the plate number in 2012 since the discounts are made because of resale value issue. You see, for example, every cars that are made on 2012 will have a drop of their value in every coming years. Even if the car is produced on 31/12/2012, their price will drop on 1/1/2013. That's what i understand la.

In your case the red preve will be produced on 2013 hence the discount for 2012 cars is not applicable.

Btw, anyone from ipoh that knows any shops that do rim painting job?

Im pretty sure that's just a normal discount. Some places offered up to 5k discount. Lol

oh my, does this mean if we put on the leather cover, it will block the side airbag too?

I'm thinking of putting on bodykit on my black preve. SA called me i may get it the day after tomorrow. any recommendation of a nice bodykit? i've seen a few types of bodykit on the net; RSR, sportivo, rieger.. or should i wait for R3 bodykit?

I havent asked anyone for quotations yet.. Probably will go around ipoh this weekend to know the local price.. If too expensive I might as well go to KL to find the cheapest one. I think price range is around rm800-rm1200?

so.. got my car yesterday. this afternoon i did a return trip to kuala kangsar from ipoh. i realize that the wind sound when the speed >130km/h is pretty irritating. so i guess SC can fix that?

on the other hand.. preve cfe highway performance is really good. for the sake of breaking in the engine i drove 160km/h-190km/h for a few minutes. really comfortable. comparable to that of toyota altis. the windy sound spoiled it though.

city driving wise, i guess the acceleration from stationary position could be better, but i dont think that's a major problem.

If i put another layer on my current tint, will it void the warranty? I think my current tint is too transparent and it makes me feel a little bit uncomfortable while driving haha.

hmm i think if you want walk in you must be the 1st customer on that day..or else they will give you a date for appointment. today i went to ipoh main SC, they said too many customers so need to set an appointment first.

Wow that preve hb, i think the rim is much nicer than ours, and i've got the feeling that they'll have a nicer rear lamp in comparison to preve sedan.

I have an appointment this monday for ecu and power window recall. + rusty issue of exhaust holder + some dashboard issue.

My question is do i need to pay anything after they fix my problem? It's not my mistake to begin with, and i feel cheated if i need to pay.

guys.. what is the estimated cost for 1000km service? my dad said the labour charge should be free..only pay for engine oil and oil filter..

any advice? im afraid that they will throw in some needless items during service later..
