just experience a serious road accident today. that why cannot get asleep now.

my 5-years-old proton saga crash very terribly front and back - it is a multiple car accident, and i am 1st car in middle, lorry hit me. gear also jam and faulty. lucky enough i am still safe in a proton saga (iswara), just some minor injuries. so even after all the repair, i think the car will give me many many problem.

so, may be it is time to get a new car, and proton preve is my first choice.

could anyone introduce me a good sale assistance? good price?

What insurance of your car with?

If the damage is very serious, might well move the car into any nearby Proton Edar body & paint centre for repair, perhaps can ask for total lost.
As you mentioned the damage was terrible.

A simple 4 angle photos, I will be able to suggest you whether the car can total lost or not.
5-year-old Saga, I assume is LMST version?
BLM only available at year 2008 if I remember.

i attached picture here.
most probably claim the lorry insurance (last one that bang).
but since not all cars reported police yet, so no saman issue yet, so still not sure.
today i EL at home, need to take extra rest... rclxub.gif

From the pics, I'd venture a guess that it is not total loss  hmm.gif

ok, i have been following this preve thread a few days.

in term of performance and spec, i have no doubt preve win hand down when comparing to vios, almera. proton did very impressive in this preve. nothing to deny.

however, i found the quality is still a problem to Proton.

even though it might be just some small issues, but it will keep giving me headache to go SC, complain, follow up and etc..

well, i am quite busy with my work, these small issues is going to kill me.

could i conclude that, if i want a peace of mind, i should say No, and avoid Preve?

hope preve owner could give me neutral comment on my above statement.

thank you

the thread show RM67k for solid color

CFE Price = RM72999 for metallic , solid white RM72549

RM72549 - RM67000 = RM5549 discount

he said including road tax and insurance , this is the main point here.. is it for 1st time owner or not

as far as i know, promotion for 1st time owner will have road tax and insurance rebates..

just to share my experience.
when i went test drive the Preve at Proton showroom SS14, the same problem occurred when i was trying to start the engine.
i put in the key, but the panel showed the battery low and could not start.

the SA also panic and asked the technician to come. The technician asked me to take out the key, step hard on the brake pedal, and try again. then it is ok. i remember, when i started the car for the second time (as guided by the technician), the battery low alarm is still there, but this time can start properly.

i did not know what is wrong, but at least it work, and just to share my experience here.

Reasons: Best customer service in all reviews.

2) CoSE (beside Kesas) - Head towards Klang on Kesas and you will pass by the biggest Proton billboard you'll ever see. Thats the place.

3) Juru SC (Penang) - Can bring own lube.

4) Trend point - Along Jalan Tun Razak. (Still under review, first review was bad, but a warranty claim experience after that shows that they're quite efficient and able to detect problems that even CoSE denies.)

The guy first quoted me (knock + spray) front bonnet RM280 and fender (above front indicator light) RM80, total RM360 and rounded down to RM350.
When he take me back to my office, he only realized my brother is his friend from our conversation.
When the time I collect my car, he said well, pay him RM300 will do.  rclxms.gif

I am quite confident with his paint job  nod.gif  Had good experience twice for my previous car and many times for my brother's and his friends' car. That's why my brother strongly recommend him to me biggrin.gif  But hey, I don't want to see him so frequently lar...  laugh.gif

i thought only driver door, can straight unlock when you open with the handle. other have to use the button to unlock the door.

Dear all,

i got my preve about 2 weeks. so far i am very happy with this Preve. Indeed Proton improved significantly and i believe this Preve will change people view on Proton brand.

anyway, i found a few problem on my Preve. hope sifu here could please advise.

a) after stop engine, i found the fan would be still running for about 5-10 minutes before fully stop. is this normal?

c) when brake at >40km/h, will get "guo guo guo" sound

b) for rusty exhaust, how long do it need to repair?

d) driver side power windows, during auto-up, sometime get suddenly stop and get down slightly (i think it is anti-trap).
anti trap too sensitive??

e) i booked my 1000km service at COSE next saturday, could they finish repair item b), c) and d) on Saturday?

f) head light auto on function.
too sensitive. sometime i stop below some bridge in traffic jam, it will turn on my headlight already..
