Correct me if i am wrong, Preve CFE is using CVT transmission (ie. stepless gear conversion as opposed to normal transmission, as such less fuel loss and more efficient fuel consumption).

However, FC cannot compare with MYVI because of the size of the car. Anyway, if you can buy Preve, i do not think fuel cost should be a big issue.

hahaha...not really true...now i try my best not to drive my preve for normal daily work...otherwise, it drinks fuel like i drink water...
but lately always rain...hmm...

1. Rusty exhaust.
2. Alignment slightly to left (checked tyres pressure, tested on few straight and even surface roads).
3. [Rephrased] The sound is like strong wind blow outside your house, yet to identify whether is it engine rev or CVT whine, particular noisy during 1.4K rpm to 1.9K rpm.
4. Sluggish pick up, Executive CVT I think not our turn to have ECU remapped yet.
5. Radio signal got disturbance sometimes (not because of neighbor car FM modulator lah..)
...

6. Another new problem, air-con fan got weird sound "fi...eee" very annoying when the level is more than half rotation. I checked the old thread, got people reported the same problem as well.
3. cvt whine...
6. make sure one of ur aircond vent is not closed...i also got this sound when i close the passenger side aircond vent....

3. If it is CVT whine, it is quite loud and only at low speed, 30km/h to 60km/h like that and in the 1.4k to 1.9k rpm zone.
6. Hmm, I already checked, all are opened, cause was damn hot this afternoon.
*
perhaps u can record the sound and put it in youtube and let us hear?
cause i have used to the cvt whining...

Glaco is priced above RM30...i think..but they have the roller to apply the solution unlike rain x which require you to pour it on a cloth and then apply in a circular motion on the glass.
