received a call from Sc, they said max can only give me 5 supp cards.

So if the person has 7 principal cards, another 2 principal cards cannot be supp out at all............what logic is that, can give out 7 cards but can only have 5 supp cards ?

Just checked and found they have approved my supp cards on 27.7.13.......in time luckily, i applied on 20.7.13.

I received a call from someone ?PS people? said need to cancel one of my supp cards which have already been approved and already sent out to me! because she said max supp cards allowed only 5.

You have understimated std chartered bank, it is not free money for sure.

They need you to make money, even if you just receive and then cut the card ,
you have been useful to the bank already after you have sigend the dotted line.

Besides, if you sit and do nothing will SC pay you?

you are right. i applied 1 week later ie 17.7.13 for 5 cards.

rejected 1 card , so got 4 x RM300 = RM1200. on 2.9.2013

supp cards.

Yes my deal is this:
RM3023 RM100 =3.3%
RM5023 RM200 =3.98%
RM7023 RM300 =4.27%

Are you sure you can get the CB?? You are paying on insurance you know.... better check first!

hooray, all my 8 cards cancelled easily, via email 1 week ago, then email verification then a call fr PS and today SMS confirmation. Checked online card summary -nothing displayed.

ya lah, Std chartered thread here. 3 principals, 5 subs gave me free money RM2+k to spend. finished already closed.

first i called and found they tried to force me to keep. even say my supp cards just issued, cannot cancel till 6 months later, so i got no choice.

then i thought of a good reason - so this time i sent email req cancellation. Then received a call few days later asking why blah blah...

i told them my Amex got frauds, my details stolen and now i want all cards cancelled.

that's it, no further pestering from them
